A few years ago we went in June and it rained every day. A steady downpour all day, everyday. We had a blast. We traded in our tennis shoes and started wearing flip flops. The best part was TL, there was maybe 50 people there. Went through three ponchos each.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Great line!

Check out where we're from!

We LOVE walking in the rain. Around here it's maybe once a year, for about 10 minutes, usually around 2 am...you get the picture!!!

i go in the rain am a ducky in a yellow poncho lol there usually is less people when it raining. if it gets really bad just duck in a building which is sometimes bad for my wallet cause i usually find something i like lol. my credit cards hate rain though lol

I go too. And I second the motion of buying a different colored ponch at home, saves enough cash fir a counter service lunch!

I figure there are enough indoor attractions to compensate for the rain.

some of my best memories from WDW is being there in the POURING rain (riding TOT about 13 times consecutively, puddle jumpng @ MK, sloshing throught the mainstreet hub)...you cant get wetter than soaked so why leave? i just make sure to wear flip flops (or bring an extra pair) on a day that I hear is going to be rainy

June 2002 - rained EVERYDAY - ALL DAY and we had a blast! Short lines and it wasn't hot! We brought ponchos from home and had to replace them we wore them so much! I have already bought some from walmart for our June trip this year. I say "Let it rain!" :umbrella:

::yes::

We just came back 1 week ago after experiencing some rain. One morning we had a non-stop downpours in Magic Kingdom and had to go back to the resort after 1.5 hours. I wish we had brought flip flops because the sneakers were soaked right through and needed 2 cycles in the dryer to make them wearable!!! :goodvibes

I would make sure that each person has a decent second pair of shoes for the trip

You are in Disney cann't let the rain stop you.

If you read the replies it appears alot more people go if it is raining or not, but yet the poll is showing the other way. Wonder if people are voting yes, meaning they go in the rain, but that is not how the question is asked.

The thread title ask if you go to the parks if it is raining, but the poll question is worded differently. (Wish I had written the question down so I could quote it!) The poll ask something like do you stay away from the parks if it is raining.

Just wondering....

Yep...I noticed this too. The thread title asks "Do you go to the parks even if it's raining all day?". Then the poll question asks "Does rain stop you from going to the parks?". They would have different answers. That is why the poll results are skewed. It depends on which question you're answering. :crazy:

No, the rain doesn't stop us. We were there a few years ago and it rained every day but the last. My dd said it was better when it was raining because the parks were less crowded.
