By that I mean....shower, hair, makeup, dressed, etc....I hate getting ready everyday, but, like it after I'm all done. I honestly could sit in my pj's all day :rotfl:.
My MIL gets up and gets 'all fixed' regardless if she goes out or not :worship:.
So...I'm just wondering if I'm the only one who looks at it like another chore to do :confused3.

Oh I look at it like it's a chore, but, yes I get "ready to face the day" (as I like to call it) everyday.

I do it only if I'm going out of the house or if I know someone is coming over. Since I work 5 days a week, It's usually about 6 days a week. Sundays are my lazy days.

Depends on what we are doing that day.
If we are staying home all day, and it is cold wintry weather outside, i have been known to stay in my jammies all day.
If I have no where I need to go , i don't put makeup on.

I hate the process of doing hair and makeup (especially hair!), but I do it because like you, I feel so much better. Plus, then I'm always ready if I need to go out because I will NOT go out in public without make-up or my hair done. I do sit around in my pajamas and robe until I need to go somewhere, though, just because it's sooo much more comfortable.

I shower and get dressed every day. I don't wear much make-up even on normal days, but I do always wear a moisturizing sunscreen and usually a little powder. If it's a lazy day at home, I might wear sweats after I shower. Clean sweats.

I just feel icky and miserable if I don't start each day fresh. I make the bed every day, too.

Well I don't wear make-up anymore, so there's not a lot of fixin' to do - LOL..

However, I do feel more energetic here in the house if I put on "real" clothes as opposed to my sloppy old sweats..;)

I'm between jobs right now and I am the only one home. If I know that we are going out somewhere in the evening to dinner or something then I will get ready. otherwise I stay in my pj's and put my hair up in a ponytail. I love the way I feel when I get all done up but its not worth it. My hair is soooo thick and wavy, but not a good wavy...more of a I slept on it kind of wavy. So if I don't blow dry it nice and straight then it looks like crap. But its so think that it takes me like 30 minutes to dry it and by the time I'm done I feel so hot and sweaty that I feel grosser than before I took a shower. Blah!

I generally take a shower and do my hair no matter what (especially if I'm home sick with a cold, the steamy hot shower helps clear me up). Makeup and nice clothes are optional depending on the situation. If I'm going to be doing something messy that day like painting or gardening, the shower waits until I'm done.

I didn't used to, but since I usually end up at the school at one time of the day, I go ahead and shower, dress (just jeans) and put on some make-up. It only takes me 10 minutes if I don't wash my hair. I don't want to scare anybody..:scared:

I shower and get dressed right on down to shoes every day - I do not do my hair or put on makeup unless I am going somwehere.

We just moved into a new neighborhood....one that everyone "walks right in". So I try to be dressed by 9am on the weekends because I know somebody's going to show up! I work all week so the weekend would be the only time to not dress. Oh well!:laundy:

I only "get ready" Mon-Fri, and weekends if I absolutly have to. I wouldn't want to embarass my son by showing up at his soccer games in my jammies with bed-head.

Kind of OT but my kids are having a PJ-day at school next week and I'm really jealous, I'd love to see the faces of my superiors if I started a PJ day at work.

It feels like a chore to me! I do it most days but as soon as I'm "in for the night," whether that's after dinner or after school, I get into my comfy pj's and sling the hair back into a pony tail. I do try to look nice on the weekends, so dh can remember why he married me ;)

I only get fixed up if I'm going somewhere or if someone is coming over..

Same here. I work full time so it's a rare treat to stay inside all day! I'm not going to bother getting all dressed if I'm just staying home.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that looks at it like a chore :lmao:.
I wish I had the perfect skin (no makeup) and hair (wash & wear) to just shower and look good, but, I don't.
I used to have a neighbor (where we use to live) who could do just that and she always looked so cute....wonder if she realizes how lucky she is :sad2:.

I shower, put on clean clothes and do my hair and make-up every day. I could not stand to be around myself if I didn't. On weekends I don't do it first thing, especially if I am cleaning, but I always do it.

I'm like you, I really hate having to do it, but I HATE how I look ect. without it. I almost prefer the days I work because then it's a no brainer, it's just done by 7 in the morning. On the weekends I don't usually shower on Sat. mornings, but I wash up, throw my hair up and put make up on, and run errands. I usually shower Sat. nights, so I don't have to dry my hair. Sundays just depend, I'd say more often than not I do get ready, but their are some that I don't. Boy I wish I was a guy someitmes just jump in the shower and get out, no hair, make-up ect.
