I definitely don't always finish a show. I try to give it 2-3 episodes to see if I can get into it, but if I'm not enjoying it...I'm done. Occasionally, I only make it through one, or part of one, episode, and know it's not for me. This week, I started Designated Survivor, and dumped it after four episodes.
Even for shows that I've been enjoying, I often get TV ADD and forget to go back and finish a series, like Schitt's Creek - which I keep meaning to go back to some day.
I actually dropped that at one point, then picked it back up later and ended up loving it again.
To answer the original question - no, I don't always finish shows. I find I get bored of comedies more than dramas, I think because the episodes tend to be more self-contained and I miss the "what happens next week?" factor. But I've also dropped shows for specific reasons (like Outlander got too violent for me, or I hated the evil cop on House).
I figure there are too many shows out there to settle for ones you don't like.
(It's true of books as well, but I'm a work in progress on that one. I still find there is a little guilt factor to not finishing a book that just isn't there with TV. But I'm working on it!)
I agree that there are too many shows out there to keep the ones you don't like or want. It seems like I delete more than I keep, but it's fun checking out the variety online.

Why on earth would you go on a thread about streaming shows and say “I’m too busy to watch tv”? Very odd behaviour indeed.
Maybe stay in threads that actually interest you,
Sorry if me sitting at home with a bad cold streaming shows isn’t busy enough for your judgey lifestyle.
