No, we dont shove an entire pancake in our mouths till we choke
We have quite a hard time with DS on this, actually. He'll stuff his face until he's nearly choking. And we don't know why.
DS has never really had 'stranger' anxiety either..when all the books and articles and whatnot say he SHOULD have stranger anxiety at this age. He's a little wary until we formally introduce said stranger to DS, but after that he's ok with them. Perhaps this is what we get for passing him around like a candydish at a party since he was 2 weeks old?

That reminds me of a time when DS was probably about a month old. He spit up all over the outfit he was wearing so I take it off and run some cold water in the bathroom sink to soak it in. Problem was, I forgot I turned the water on (I was still sleepdeprived at this point) and later, when I went to the bathroom, there was a puddle about three inches deep on the bathroom floor that soaked into the hallcarpet. I totally flipped out and DH had to go borrow a wet/dry vac from our neighbor to clean it up.
