Do you ever have those days where you are just stupid...

I have been sitting here for the past hour trying to figure out why I kept coming up 300+ dollars short in my checkbook! I have been frantic on the phone with both DH (threatening his very life if he had taken it) and the bank, trying to go over the stupid register. Thank you Teller Kathy for proving that I can't add even with the help of a calculator! With Kathy's help , I found out it was MY fault because I had taken my car payment out twice this month! OPPS!!
Note to self: Make DH manicotti for dinner to apologise for blaming him and thinking of evil ways to get even!

I have done this a couple of times.I've phoned the credit card company up and said I don't recocnize this transaction I think it's fraudulent,and each time it was me and I'd paid for something I'd forgotten

Yes! I just keep getting stupid-er and stupid-er. Example: I go to the pool without the kids and go back to the house to get my cell phone, then I leave it in the car. Duh!

geffric...Only if you wave hi too! I will be the one with the two OLD people dressed like Hawaii rejects (my parents wear flower print clothes while on vacation), two DDs(5&7mo) in matching princess costumes and my neice(5) who thanks to her airhead mom looks like GI JANE (buzzed hair and all).

Ah, phones really bring out the stupid in me! Either I:

1) draw a blank if someone asks me for mine,

2) give my work # out instead of my home #, or my home # out instead of my work #,

3) (from home) dial 9 for an outside line (DUH!)

or
4) answer my home phone with "Good morning, First Presbyterian Church, may I help you?" ... takes a special kind of stupid to do this one... and I have done it more than once!!

I've had a few myself...

Answering my home phone saying..."Medical Staff Services, this is Sandy."

The entire year I was 33 I could NOT remember my age for anything. I always had to figure it out.

Did you ever get a phone/fax number stuck in your head and you couldn't remember who it was for? I did! Plenty of times!

Remember my own cell number? No way! I never call myself.

I'm still trying to make sure I get my home phone number right. The first three numbers are the same as the numbers I had for my FL number, but in a different order. Confusing! I want to say 487...and that's not it! LOL!

Once on my drive to work...as I was flying over the railroad tracks...I glanced in the rearview mirror, saw DS wasn't there, panicked, and thought...where did I leave him? I was thrilled when it hit me that I already dropped him off at school. I think I was past the point of needing a vacation that day.
