I am off to bed now....hopefully I can sleep. I have difficulty sleeping when things are bothering me. It may be a long night.

2 of the ones I can't make happy are in bed. I need to put myself there and put the day behind me.

Sometimes the excitement of the holidays just wears the little ones out..... My problem is this big, strapping kid will get up in the morning and ask me what's for dinner..... At dinner, he's asking me what's for breakfast........ I ask him what he wants, he always answers, "I don't care." So I fix soemthing and then he says, "I don't like that....." Grrrr...... I think we are seriously going to make up a chart and everyone will take a night to cook!

Take a long bubble bath before you go to bed. And when Shep gets home, pretend you're asleep and kick him. That'll make you feel much better.

Got to sleep....woke up with a headache. I know others are having worse days than me.....so I am just happy for another day.

Believe me, it isn't shep. My family is making getting together for Christmas more stressful than it needs to be. I am tired of being the decision maker on things. It doesn't help that my Aunt and Uncle want to host Christmas, but are making it more difficult on others because my Aunt can't make a decision on her own. I keep trying to tell her that she should try to meet the standards of Thanksgiving that I have. That is more food than we normally have at Christmas and I am not your normal hostess.

We have Christmas for the family at our house. Everyone brings one dish. Makes it easier on everyone.

We do it the same way...but I make so many dishes at Thanksgiving that even if everyone brought one dish all the dishes I made would not be there. My Aunt just doesn't understand that at Christmas we don't eat all that food.
