I can't say I ever get tired of Disneyland, just the crowds and the rude people. But..I only like to go about once a year. Like Hydro said, it's like Christmas for me..and once a year works fine. Of course, I don't live close, if I did I can see myself hopping over for a meal or whatever, but it might lose it 'specialness' by being so easy to get to. Like when I lived in Vegas. I worked on the strip..did I really have to go there after work??? nooooo.
As OP have said, how about mixing it up? I'd love to do a Disney cruise, we are doing WDW in 10, and in Jan 09 we're doing an ABD. (Backstage Magic). Last year we didn't even do Disney, we visited friends in Wisconsin and went to a business thing in DC (business for DH fun for me). Couple years ago we did an AI in Playa Del Carmen and will probaly do that again as well.
All I have to do at Disney to feel the magic is look at the light on in Walt's apartment and give a little nod of thanks.

The kids get irritated at us though so we made a deal that we would always ride at least 2 rides. LOL I really don't see myself or the kids getting tired of Disney for at least another 5 years, DBF is already getting tired of it though...and the miles that we are putting on the van. :yikes
