Last October was my first trip back since 1971, when I was a wee little girl. I didn't know what to expect. I was fine until I saw the castle. The memories of Daddy and I came rushing back and I cried. I just couldn't help it.
I cried again when we had to leave. HARD.

My father has moved to Florida just this past month and plans on meeting my DH and I while we are there this October. I am packing tissues. :rotfl2:

I guess like everyone else I get teary eyed with happiness when I see my family having fun. I personally get teary every doggone time that I see the fireworks! especially Wishes! the music and spectical just GET to me! :rolleyes1 Helen

Not usually, but I did a few times last trip. Once when I realized the perfect view of the castle from our balcony, again when we watched Wishes from the balcony, and again during the KTTK tour when the mayor came out to talk with us. Sappy.

I tear up about Disney all of the time. We were trying to talk about Beauty and the Beast last night and I got too choked up to form words, ha.

everytime I see the night parade I am usually a puddle of tears. My DHand I have been together 13 years and now he just expects it.

Yep-I'm a big baby. I well up every time I watch Wishes (at WDW and DL). I don't know why, it all just gets to me.

Also, I'll well up when something magical happens to my DD6. For example, when we've watched the Alladin show (at DCA-sorry not at WDW, maybe someday?) and most of the times we've sat on the first level, in the front or second row. We have particular seats we like. The reason is during the cloud flying act (it didn't happen this was last time, hopefully it's just a temporary change) if you are sitting on an outside seat, most of the times the actors portraying the camels will bend their head so my DD can touch them. It gets me every time. I found it hard to get the words "Thank you" out. But, then again, I'm a big emotional baby-I'll cry when watching a movie even if I've seen it many times, when something emotional happens. :confused3

I cry before, during and after the trip!!!

I cry as I read the boards... seems like there's always something magical happening!!!

Always have tears of such magical experiences in my eyes but never so much as when my 8yo DD was crying during Spectromagic. I got scared and asked her what was wrong...she said, "Oh, mom, this is the prettiest thing I've ever seen!" I cried the whole rest of the parade and through Wishes when once again I saw her tears!

I cannot view a parade at any Disney park without tears. It's just how I am. It's good to know that I'm not alone.

I cry during Wishes. I cry when I see my boys get so excited about a character. I ALWAYS cry when we leave. Not immediately, but we drive, so about an hour down the road I get teary & stay that way for at least a week. I've told my husband the only cure is to guarantee me an annual trip, so I'm not so sad when we leave & can start planning the next time.

Oh gosh- let's see. I tear up once I hit MainStreet USA- that gets me every time. I also get teary eyed watching and thinking what an AWESOME my family is having our our "heavenly vacation" 34 days to go- come on BABY!!!!!

P.S. I also cry when I got to come home- boohoo!!!!!

I always get choked up the first day we're "home" again at the MK... the first sighting of the castle and the "smells" and sounds of Main Street USA are just so overwhelming and wonderful :)

Last year when we visited Disney, as soon as I got to the parking lot at the Ticket & Transportation Center, I just got overwhelmed. I hadn't been back to the World in 7 years and it felt so good to be there. It is most certainly my "happy place" and I couldn't help but shed a few happy tears. Just the thought of it makes me smile and wish I were there! Come to think of it, it was a year ago this week!! AHHHH! I wanna to back - NOW!!

Wishes gets me every time, no matter how many times I've seen it. :)

Let's see, when do I cry? The first time is when we land at MCO and we ride the monorail there, (our first ride on vacation!) The next time is when we drive under the sign that says Walt Disney World!! When we check in at POFQ is the next time. Then when we go to Epcot and I see Illuminations for the first time this vacation. Always gets me!!! I remember the first time my DGD saw Illuminations. She was four at the time. Papa had promised her a special surprise and when the show started, she began to jump up and down clapping her hands and said, "Oh Papa, this is a great surprise!!!! You 're the best!!!" The next time is when we see the castle for the first time on the trip.
There isn't a firework show at Disney that doesn't bring on the waterworks! Wishes is the second worst for tears. I make the same wish every year. So far the wish has come to fruision each year! pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Last year when we took our kids for the first time, I got teary eyed every time I would see the looks of pure joy and happiness on the kids faces (that includes the big kid - DH)! :cloud9: It really is the happiest place on earth...

Last trip I only cried twice...

Our first day was at MK, and I totally did not see it coming! I was so happy to be there, and we were there really early. When the opening ceremony started and I realized I was really THERE, I cried a few tears of joy.

Then, on the last day of our trip we were at MK again. We were going to watch Wishes and then catch the last Spectromagic parade to end our trip. We really enjoyed wishes, and then I realized they were closing the park!! It was the one day of the week that they didn't have the late Spectro. I was so disappointed that I just sat down on a bench and cried. Here it was, the end of the trip, and it seemed to end prematurely. I think I would have cried anyway, even if I would have seen the parade.

My dad tells me that when I was younger, I would scream at the top of my lungs when it was time to leave the park. I guess I still get that general feeling today, I just have gained a little more self control.

Wishes does it for me everytime!! Also, Spectromagic. I don't know why, but I guess it's just the magic of it all.

I usually want to cry when I see the castle for the first time, but I can usually keep my composure then.

Nice to know that I am not alone when it comes to crying!!

Heck, I saw a video of Wishes online and cried like a baby!!! :confused3

Last March was the first time I had been since my internship (when I had been in at least one of the parks every day for months) so I got teary eyed a couple of times.

Our first night I got teary during Wishes. The second day, I cried at the end of GMR (I'm a sucker for the montage). Also, after I left Studios, I got on a bus for DTD. While I was living there, I spent most of my time at either Studios or DTD and this was a very familiar bus trip. I (embarassingly) cried on the bus - but a lot of it was because I missed the friends I had made while I was working there (they have all since returned home). Our last day, I didn't cry in the park (we went to Epcot), but I did cry a little in the car the next morning as we were leaving the hotel.
