I am just wondering, have you ever gotten teary-eyed at Disney because of all the happiness?

I've never been, but I suspect I might shed some happiness tears when I arrive.

Do you guys cry at Disney? (Happiness or otherwise?)

I've gotten teary-eyed during Wishes before. Also, on our 10th anniversary, I got teary-eyed having to leave the Poly...it was such a perfect stay!! I never thought I would be so emotional over something that seems so silly to others but I guess it isn't so silly to me.

I cry a couple of times a day. Here's a few things that made me cry on my last trip - Cinderellabration, all of the night shows / parades / fireworks, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast at MGM, and when I met certain characters.

All the time. I get teary when we're on our way to the MK for the first time--even on the bus when you can hear all the kids start to say excitedly, "Look! It's the castle!"

I cry when I see my big ole 15 yo doing something she loved doing as a small child and loves just as much now. But I remember that little bitty girl. I get choked up when she holds my hand of her own accord and calls me Mommy again.

And I really cry when we have to leave. :teeth:

I cry all the time at practically everything. ;) I'm just so HAPPY when I'm there!!!!

Oh wow-what a great topic!! I'm misty just thinking about all the times I get misty at WDW!!
Illuminations really does it to me, as does Wishes. Wishes was big this year because one of my wishes came true! I became a DVC member and took my Mom and Dad on vacation for the first time.
I get misty when my niece comes with us because of all the memories I have with her as a little girl-now she's 20 and MK is still her favorite park!

Yes, I cry often at Disney.. its hard not to get wrapped up in the magic of it all.

Oh yes, ALL the time. I pretty much spend the entire trip with a lump in my throat! :goodvibes

I read this and I laughed out loud, because I get teary eyed EVERY DAY thinking about Disney!!! It's like, when DON'T I get teary eyed!!!
:)
43 days to go!

I cried the first time I took my kids DD5 princess: and DS2 pirate: to the world. When we walked into MK and I saw the castle and I saw their faces (pure joy - they were so happy and excited), I was just so happy to have them experience this. It was magical :cloud9:

I came very close to crying during Wishes on our first day in the Magic Kingdom. It really touched me that we were really there and it was a wonderful as I'd remembered and had been anticipating.

They actually got me, though, on the Disney's Magical Express bus ride back to the airport to go home. It was already a blue day. Why'd they have to put the "Now it's time to say good-bye to all our company..." song in that video?

I get really tearied eyes when I see how much my kids love Disney. Especially during Wishes this year!!! And the looks on their faces when they got to see the real Mickey and CInderella was priceless!!

I always tear up at the MK opening ceremony. I guess I'm just so happy to be there and because it's so magical.

I love the feeling of not being in the "real world". No outside stresses. Just all Disney happiness!

I also tear up at parades and fireworks and stage shows.

Each night at WDW as I pull the credit card receipts out of my wallet a little tear forms.

Is the Pope Catholic??? I find myself moved to tears several times a day during our visits. I love the music; I enjoy watching the shows and the CMs dancing their feet off trying to give Guests a bit of the Magic; and I mostly enjoy watching the huge smiles on my grandsons' faces! It's better than any pill I could take for an ailment. pixiedust:

I cry at times...like seeing the castle, watching fantasmic, wishes, and of course when we're leaving

All the time! At least I know I'm not alone! :wizard: I just get overwhelmed with happiness when I'm there. Especially during parades and fireworks. Illuminations gets me everytime!
