Do you ever feel.....

I'm watching this program on musicians from the eighties and they all look so oooooold!!!!

But I don't think I've changed at all since high school when I was listening to them.

Anybody else ever feel this way?

Well, friends & acquaintences still recognize me readily, so I guess I haven't changed too much. Recently I saw my fourth grade teacher (from many moons ago) and she said I hadn't changed a bit. I always liked her the best. Anyway, I think it was her way of saying time has been good to me.

I don't know, I think time has a way of catching up to us in increments --- sometimes giant steps. Depends on lots of things, genetics, hard knocks, hard livin'.

The musicians from the eighties most likely did a lot of hard livin'.

I have been thinking lately that everyone on TV looks old. It's depressing because I feel like I'm 18 (well, as far as maturity, not physically) and I still picture myself as I looked at 18. Then I get a big boot to the head every time I get pictures developed. I don't know why the view in the mirror doesn't upset me as much as the ones in print. It didn't help that I had some stupid show on today about stars and their plastic surgery.

I think that's natures way of keeping you from jumping off a bridge. People usually do think everyone else looks older than they do, but they are usually wrong.
