Ok, I know this may sound crazy - heck I probably am
. But do you ever feel like you don't want to go on your trip? We leave tomorrow and after months of planning, reading these boards, reading the Unofficial Guide and Tour Guide Mike, watching the Travel Channel Disney specials, making a resort reservation, changing the resort reservation, making ADRS, changing ADRs (because I had to change resorts) and now packing, I kind of don't want to go. I know our 9-day trip is going to be over before I know it - it always seems to go by too quickly!! It's like Christmas when you were a kid - the anticipation and counting down and then when it was over you would kind of feel bummed.
Just wanted to see if I was the only person out there that gets like this before their trip to WDW.
I really am excited, I just wish there was a way to S-L-O-W down time so our trip to seem to be over in the blink of an eye.
Thanks for letting me 'vent'!

But think of it this way you can start planning for an even better trip when you get back and take in to account everything you learned.
I know I am placing too much emotion in this trip telling myself it is what I have to do to move on but what if it doesn't work and all I will think about is how bad our last trip was?
-or at least he and I do. What helps us with post-Disney depression is planning our next trip. Whether it is to Disney or elsewhere. Also we buy some sort of sentimental object while there so we can be constantly reminded of the good times. Last Disney trip was to DL and I bought pens and a DL mousepad with the retro-map of the park on it! I see it everyday and smile
The trip before, we bought a bobble-head statue of the 3 ghosts from Haunted Mansion. One of my most fave souvies ever! It sits on top of our TV stand.
