I have been wanting a Care Bear ever since they became popular again. I used to have "Cheer Bear" when I was younger, I wish I still had it. The only thing keeping me from getting another one is that I don't know what I would do with it once I got it! I'm not even a stuffed animal person really, but I think they're cute!

Electric trains...i prefer G gauge so i can put them around the Christmas tree....

Matchbox Corvettes and other miniature Corvettes....

Last purchase of a kids toy was me buying talking Rutt & Tuke plush toys....for me...lol

All the time. :teeth: My mom got me a new Grumpy Bear last year, but I left it at her house as I was afraid my old Grumpy (that I still have here) would be upset. lol I have my old Cheer Bear, too. You could get her and she could sit on your bed. Or on the couch, just somewhere to make you smile.

But yes, I buy toys for myself. Not too often, since I try and tell myself I don't need the junk.

I wish we closer to our nieces and nephews cause everytime I buy them a toy, I want to play with it.

::yes:: I buy toys for my self all the time. :teeth:

I bought DH and I a stuffed Eeyore at WDW on our last vacation... does that count?:D

I've bought Cabbage Patch kids and a Pal Mickey, just for me :)

I guess it doesn't matter what age you are! I just always talk myself out of buying them though. Maybe I'll splurge and treat myself! I like hearing what you've bought for yourself recently though...keep 'em coming! :D

Build-a-Bear!! ::yes:: Does that count? ;)

Also DH is back to liking Legos! :teeth: Well, he never stopped, but he wants them as gifts now.

I still have Cheer Bear from the first go round.
And always, always Disney beanies.

I sometimes buy toys at WDW (stuffed characters and other trinkets), and I also sometimes buy Hot Wheels/Matchbox cars if I see a particular model of car that I like.

I want an American Girl doll. Maybe one day I will buy myself one, and tell myself its for a future granddaughter.

Its probably a good thing I don't have daughters, I'd more than likely go broke buying "her" gifts that are really for "me". ::p

all the time
DH collects donald duck things
I collect mickey mouse
I have a stuffed fuzzy bear & sully
DH has PS2 all kinds of games
DH has zip zaps & RC motorcycle
we have two kids but get toys for ourselves also

Oh, all of the time. My Little Pony. The Mickey Mouse teddy bears. :)

I just had to buy a Babbling Boo doll when I saw it in the Disney store. I used to play with it in the store, and finally bought it. I still make her babble when I need something to make me smile :)

I have a closet full of Barbies, all the holiday dolls plus editions like the Star Trek and X-Files dolls. There's also my action figures from science fiction films

I have 2 monorails and accessories. Some Disney Princess Christmas Dolls. Several beanie babies.

For myself no, but for our future children sure.

my husband and i are getting ready for when we have a family and i have been buying toys when they are on sale eg 50% off.

I bought a toy box to store them all in, i also have a lot of baby stuff put away.

I have been trying to find paddington bear stuff and am having to buy it all on ebay as there isn't hardly anything paddington bear in new zealand.

I also have a lot of book on a book shelf lots of board books for young children and classic books like paddington bear, winnie the pooh etc..

I have a lot of toys/games/books resources as i am an early childhood teacher but I use them with my children at work aged 2- 5 years old.

I don't have any toys i bought myself unless you count my mickey mouse soft toy i bought on my recent trip to WDW and by build a bear which i made while staying in new Jersey ( called him samuel adams are the beer as we had a few of those while on holiday).

I did however get a cabbage patch kid when i was 21 i had always wanted one and my mum never bought me one as she thought they were ugly. Well i used to have her on about what a deprived childhood i had as i didn't own a cabbage patch kid well low and be hold on my 21st birthday i open up one of the presents and there is a cabbage patch doll. :teeth:

Our house is full of toys and we have no children!! :teeth: I think we go to Toys R Us more than most people with kids. They mainly belong to DH who collects lots of different figures but like you I had to have a care bear when they got popular again. I have Bedtime Bear (my first care bear the first go around) and Love-A-Lot Bear. :) I have mine on the bed but you could put it anywhere!

does 260 beanies, numerous buddies and other plush, 20 Cabbage Patch dolls, lots of the original Care Bears, including Grandma and Grandpa Care Bears, beanie kids, Disney beanies and plush and a fuzzy stuffed dog that wouldn't let me leave without buying him, count? Or the hundreds of action figures that my husband collects?

DS who is 25 usually gets a new lego set for Christmas. He absolutely loves them. Only problem is now he likes the extremely expensive ones!! When he and his DW have children at least they will have some legos. I have all of the "old" Nancy Drew books. Bought them as long as they came out. These are the ones that are hard back. I think there may be about 60 something of them. But not for sure.
