I just get such a kick out of the gorilla section of AK! I could stand there for at least an hour and not tire of it, they are so comical. Unfortunately, my kids kind of get bored of it, so we move along. This coming trip, I want to spend some alone time for awhile there, just so I'm not rushed. What do you think, do you like them too?

Yes, the gorilla part of AK is very entertaining.

We spent ALOT of time watching them. I was completely fascinated with them.

We love to watch the gorillas!

Last year we were watching them and there was a baby trying to interact with one of the adults. I'm assuming it was a baby since it was much smaller. Anyhow, the adult was having nothing to do with the baby. He/she was trying very hard to get noticed -- getting right up in the adult's space, hiding under tree branches and peaking out. All very cute, everybody watching was "oh, that's so cute, look at him", laughing ... then the baby climbed up a tree and ... peed! You should have heard the laughter! :p

I guess it's one of those things that you just had to be there to see the humor in but it really was so funny.

They really are beautiful creatures though, amazing to watch.

Honestly we only went there once.....after that we took a pass because.....There was a gorilla that took his poop for lack of a better word and threw it on the bridge.

The CM started cracking up as everyone went screaming away. They called him the pitcher because he would pitch it onto the bridge LOL!

That was when AK first opened but I heven't been able to get my kids back there since, I thought it was hilarious!!

I love the gorillas too. I could sit there for hours watching them but my dd's get bored and we leave after a few min. Someday I am going to take the time to stay and watch.
