I'm feeling pathetically pleased with myself for selling my first eBay item!

I've bid for a few things and won a few auctions over the past six months or so, but have only just started to list a couple of items to sell. The first one finished this afternoon and I've another two finishing later tonight, both of which have bids on, so will sell too :)

I can see I'm going to have raid the attic for more things to try to sell ...

Hilary I sold a lot of my Disney Beanies on ebay :) and then spent the money on buying other stuff LOL!!!

Congratulations on your sales :)

I mostly buy - but not very often! I get a bit carried away. It's not like it's spending real money, is it? ;)

Congrats on your sales.

I only buy from ebay ~ mostly handbags, jewellery and shoes.

Hi Hilary

Well done on your e-bay sales. Its addictive, once you start you can't stop!

A bit like this discussion board really :rotfl:

DO I EVER !! this board and ebay are my reason for using the net :rotfl: i so need to get a life

When I took early retirement I decided I was going to make my fortune setting up an eBay shop - only problem is I don't know what to sell or where to find a supplier!!!

Do a bit of buying and selling. The selling funds the Disney addiction :teeth:

I don't think my first three items would get me very far - possibly about enough for a coffee in the departure lounge at the airport! ;) Still, I have high hopes for the future...

Hiya

I got carried away buying stuff that I didnt need so now I limit myself to stuff I can't find anywhere else.

At the moment I am buying some old postcards of Goole - which is where I have just bought a house - to put up somewhere. We have two bought already, One from the 60's showing cars on the miain street & one b&w one that was posted to Belgum during WW2.

I have sold one item, a dress, and bought a few bits and pieces. I sort of make a rule that i only bid on things that it doesn't matter if it all goes wrong. I am too much of a coward to risk losing a lot of money. DS on the other hand buys and sells things which cost a fortune, and so far everything has been fine.

LOL - when I contacted Alan after the sale I suggested a few places he might want to use the voucher and then mentioned a Disney site I used (not realizing he was a veteran  ) - he pointed me in the direction of a Disney site he used.

Even though I was registered I'd never really spent any time here - now I know what a nice bunch you all are :disrocks:

Have bought lots, mainly disney pins and retro games.

Not tried selling yet....one day.

I sell lots on eBay - it's funded the spending money for our last 4 trips. I'm selling pins as well as CD singles etc, the pins are doing really well and I've found a nice cheap supplier which helps. I do use eBay for buying - nothing too big, just other pins and sometimes beanies.

I've been eBaying for about 2 years now and am TOTALLY addicted. Having said that it has pretty funded my last 2 trips and the shopping I did while I was over there !

I have so much stuff that I've carted around with me from place to place that I've just decided to flog it. CD's, DVD's, promotional 'gifts', clothes I don't wear anymore, it all helps to clear those credit cards and get me my Orlando fix !

How easy is it to sell stuff?

It always looks a bit complicated to me - with all the piccies etc, wouldn't have a clue where to start.
