What are your favorite drinks at each country in Epcot? I like fruity drinks. What about the Grey goose slush? I have seen a pic of it, is it good? Any recommendations?

We spent our part of our honeymoon, Disneymoon, in Epcot this year during Christmas. Had a blast doing a pub crawl through Epcot. We stuck to beer and went to China, Japan, Moracco, and ended up in England! We had dinner at Le Cellier and that was great but made me a little tired. We are going to do it again in April with friends of ours and are looking very forward to it. Again, we stick to beers so we are not "sloppy" and can enjoy everything the different countries have to offer but love ending up at the Rose and Crown! They are all great!

They grey goose slushes are great. DH drinks goose all the time. He had me try it and he went right away and get himself one cause I took his. I have done wine sampling in Germany and the margaritias in Mexico are amazing.:cool1:

My 21 yr did this in Dec.I tried to keep up, but I couldn't hang. He had a drink from each country-He started in Mexico and got one drink from each country. He loved the slush in France.
He was pretty trashed-but he didnt get sick and now has bragging rights.
Of course he wore sunglasses all day the next day!
Oh to be 21 again....

I'm usually a beer drinker, but I tried a friend's Grey Goose slushie thingy last F&W fest and it was SO good!

Hmm...does it mean I have a drinking problem if I still dream about Grey Goose Slushies? Seriously those things are sooooo good. You must get one (or two or three or...)

We don't do DATW ourselves but last week a group of 5 folks that were doing a "Beer around the world" asked me to take their picture in Japan.

They seemed in good spirits at that point. :rotfl:

I prefer the Grand Marnier slushie in France, but DH loves the Grey Goose :thumbsup2

My DH did beers around the world once. He was so hung over the next day, he didn't leave the room. That was many, many years ago.

I usually have 1 or 2 drinks but that's about it. I don't like drinking as much as I used to since I've got kids.

I am planning on trying a grey goose slush on my solo trip and maybe one or two other drinks throughout the trip since I won't have the kids to worry about.

Forgot to add that I saw a bunch of guys with Viking Hats having a blast drinking around the world in September 08. They asked me to join them when I said Hi. They were obviously feeling no pain!

I tried last year. I only made it halfway. The ones I really liked where a plum-wine green tea slushie thing in China and the grand marnier slushie in France is to die for!

ok, which country are these in? What do they taste like? Are they fruity, sour?

They are in France. They are in a cart to your left as you cross over the bridge into France. At least that's where they've been in all our visits.

My husband likes the margarita in Mexico, and his favorite beer at Epcot is the Spaten at Germany. (He likes dark beers.) I don't drink much at Epcot except during F&W.

My favorite thing to do is drink around the resorts... but that's another thread... ;)

We don't drink in every country, but always have a margarita in Mexico, wine in Italy, beer in Germany, grey goose slushie in France. I have been known to double fist in France with the slush and champagne!
