Just seeing how many of us dress up for Halloween. I usually don't dress up, but know a lot of people who do.

You betcha'! I'm usually Elvira or Marilyn!:p

Every year the dads in the neighborhood get together and take all the kids around the neighborhood together..there are probably 25-30 kids. After we have a party at one of the houses.
Two years ago a neighbor and I put on ghost costumes...we covered everything, wore white gloves and even sunglasses. We got a bunch of silly string and ran thru the group yelling BOOOO and stringing the dads..then we arrived at the party and we didnt speak.....no one (even our husbands) knew who we were cause everyone wasn't there yet.
it was great...the host even wondered if her party was being crashed with strangers.

Which ever one of us takes the kids around dresses up to match them. This year it is DH who is takignthe kids around. So, he will be Donald Duck, the kids are Mickey and Minnie and the dog is Goofy.

Not usually, but last year we were in Disney on Halloween and I had my face painted like a lion in EPCOT. This year we're leaving the day before, but I just might get it done anyway. A woman of my years with her face painted can cause quite a stir.

Last year my daughter was a princess, so that, of course, made me KING!

It's good to be the king.

last year was the first year i didn't dress up or do anything special. usually my friends and i will get together, dress up, and go out barhopping. last year a bunch of people were on vacation so we didn't go.

We bought a house last year a few weeks before Halloween so made sure to be home to pass out candy and meet the neighborhood kids and parents--we wanted people to know we weren't scary new neighbors. We were both wearing painters coveralls (and painting the walls of our new home) so we threw on straw hats and called ourselves farmers.

On a side note: We were painting our living room wall red and it is one of the first things you see through our front door although it is with all of our boxes you couldn't see much of it. Anyway, we only had 2 coats on the wall (it took 5 coats to get it even--red sucks but it sure is pretty!) and it looked like blood on our walls. We also had "blood" red paint on our coveralls and one of the little boys was very scared of us for a while. So sad. He's over it now and plays basket ball with DH. It was funny--looked like a slaughter house for a few days though.

Always! And I am the only one in my office of about 20 people who does, but I love the time of year and have spirit!

Last year I was Maleficent - complete with the horns and green face paint!

I haven't recently but we just moved to a neighborhood that is positively crawling with kids so we are expecting some serious trick or treaters this year. I plan to decorate the outside a bit to make it clear that the new couple on the block welcomes the little candy grubbers and I'm thinking we should dress up SOMEHOW too. The question is, what?

Yes I work in a middle school. Our team of teachers usually have a theme. Last year was the BEST -- we call came to school in our pajamas. Of course I had to buy new ones with big fuzzy slippers. Loved it!

I don't dress up for Halloween, but my boyfriend usually does. It's one of his favorite holidays, since it is his birthday!

I try to....2 years ago my good friend and I dressed up as a lounge singing act (tacky suits, big glasses, martini glasses, cigars)...we went around work the whole day in character singing and telling bad jokes...

Last year we were going to go as pirates but circumstances at work ruined a lot of things and we decided not to. I havent decided what to do this year..but I'm sure it will be fun! I LOVE Halloween!
