Do you do the same restaurant twice in one trip?

I am debating on doing CM's twice next trip. CM's breakfast on check out day is a must. I am thinking about doing CM's dinner the day after we get there but I'm also thinking that there are so many great restaurants out there that I should try something else.

TIA!

OMG! If I tell you when this first opened we did it every night. The boys would go nowhere but here. And now that they are older that have to go at least one time either for Bk or Din. We love this place.:worship::worship::worship::worship::worship::worship::worship:

I've done CM breakfast and dinner in the same trip. Our next trip we are eating at Cape May Cafe and Boma for both breakfast and dinner:goodvibes

I only go once at each trip. There are so many places that I want to try, and for me it would ruin the magic if I was to go more than once. I do like the idea of going on the last day before you leave. I am hoping to try that next year.

I was thinking of doing this as we have reservations the first day we are there and i have another one in the middle of our stay. Deciding though whether i should cancel and book Ohana breakfast the last day of our stay instead of doing this. We are staying at CR and it would be very convenient to do this especially if we dont feel like doing too much that day if would be a very very easy option for us.

when we were on the dining plan we went to le ceiller twice in one week

when we stayed at saratoga we ate at turf club 3 times in 5 days, once for lunch twice for dinner

DH loves the turkey dinner during lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern - so yes, we go there twice each trip!

On our last two trips, we've eaten dinner at Cape May twice. It's my DH's favorite restaurant, so we eat there once early in the week and again later in the week.

there are hundreds of places to experience.... and although there are some that are better than others... I have a hard time narrowing it down to the small amount we get to try each visit. Granted we do have favorites that are a must do (once) every trip, but I think if we went more often, we'd get bored of it, and it would be less special. the only way I see around this is to extend my trip to about 3 or 4 weeks, and then I guess it would be ok to do a repeat on one trip. :rotfl:

we visit CM twice each trip -- it's become a family tradition! We do CM dinner the day we arrive and CM breakfast on the day we leave. We figure it's the best of both worlds -- the best way to begin & end our vacations!

I've struggled with this same question. Ohana's is a first day breakfast must for us. And Chef Mickey's is a departing day breakfast must for us. I want to try both places for dinner, but not at the expense of giving up breakfast. So, I would have to eat at both places twice, but there are so many places that I want to try. :confused3 For now, I'll just stick with breakfast.....I think.

I think I'm just going to stick with it for breakfast. We will be doing Tusker House BF too so the kids will get to see Mickey earlier in the week too.

CM's BF is the only place DS requests. He just loves it! For the food...not the characters!:love:

For our next trip we have adrs at Ohana for breakfast and dinner. I may end up making an adr at Kona for dinner so we will be eating there for breakfast and dinner as well. We love trying new places as well as trying the same places for different meals so we don't mind going more then once. :goodvibes

We are definitely going to be doing Cape May Cafe for breakfast on the last morning of our next trip because we are staying at BWV (our DVC home) and it is right across the lake at Beach Club, so very convenient on check-out day. We are also most likely going to try the dinner buffet at Cape May in addition to the breakfast. So that would be going to the same restaurant twice in one 10-night trip.

I would do Chef Mickey's twice like you are talking about! We went there for breakfast and it was so great, on our last trip. Never been there for dinner, but we are thinking of trying it, and don't know whether we will end up there for breakfast or for dinner next time, or for both!

We've been to Boma for both breakfast and dinner. On our next trip we will go to Crystal Palace for breakfast and dinner. We are a family of nine and we tend to stick with places that everyone enjoys. Visiting our favorite restaurants has become a family tradition. :grouphug:

We do WCC for both breakfast and dinner. We did this last trip and have it reserved for this trip as well.

For our trip last year (1st family trip) we did mostly breakfast to get into the parks early and just have a good start to the day. We did a lot of character meals, but tried to change it up so we wouldn't see all the same people over and over. We did:
Crystal Palace (B)
Chef Mickey's (B)
Tusker House (B)
Akershus (B)
Tutto Italia (D)
1900 Park Fare (D)
WCC at WL (B & D) but we were staying here, so it was convenient

This time we are doing 3 favorites from last year and a few new ones.

Crystal Palace (B)
Tusker House (B)
Tutto Italia (D)
Mama Melrose (L)
Kona Cafe (B)
hoping for Paradiso 37 at DTD (D)

I considered Kona for dinner as well on a different day as well as Ohana, but wanted to try a different location that I haven't been to before so we were going to do Big River Grille at the Boardwalk, but when we found it hard to get a ressie there I said "no way, not during free dining am I going to be without an ADR for a TS location that is on the DDP" so as for me I like to not only try different restaurants but different locations as well.

April 08 we did Boma twice in one trip....it was so good the first time we had to eat there again!

Sometimes we do CS more than once but never TS because there are too many wonderful places for us to eat at!

Sure...why not? If it's a place you really like, why not eat there as many times as you wish? We are eating at my son's favorite 2 times in 5 days. It makes him happy....it makes us happy!
