I'm curious how many of you do these, and love them? Do you prefer head characters or face characters?
I personally didn't do many on my early trips (2012 & 2014), partially because I was self-conscious that a 30-ish male wouldn't be appropriate to meet Princesses and such- like they'd have warnings against that, lol. I later learned they were fine with this so long as everyone behaved (one reddit questionnaire of a former performer said: "We're girls- we like attention. Take the picture!").
I had a ton of fun doing this in 2019 and last year (I got in literally the week they reopened the Fairytale Hall). I actually have fun talking back and forth, as I actually know the lore of the movies. Elena of Avalor always seemed particularly touched to have an adult fan actually know the side characters of her show, lol! The "separated by a garden" meet & greets weren't ideal outside in Epcot or by Belle's cottage, but otherwise it seems nice.
