Do you do anything to celebrate or is Valentine's just another day?

I get DD a heart-shaped box of chocolates and a card.

This is only DBF and I's second Valentine's Day together but for both of them we went/are going to The Capital Grille for dinner. We like getting dressed up and going to fancy restaurants. Oh and I'm getting a watch with pink swarsvoki crystals in it. (shhh, its supposed to be a secret. lol)

That does not mean that we don't say and show our love for each other every day though.

This year I'll be at WDW with my two daughters and my mom, and my husband is staying home in MD.

Usually he does come through with a nice card, small gift and nice dinner out. Not sure if we'll try to do something special before or after the trip or not. I'm just excited to sit at the Poly with a fat tropical drink in my hand--I could care less about missing V-Day.

I always make up something special for the kids. We do celebrate it! I make heart waffles with the heart waffle iron dh and I got for a wedding gift.

We will be celebrating out of town this year. dd13 has a softball tourny in Indiana over V-day. We will be at a hotel. It will be fun though!
