Do you curse/swear?

I have my moments and love using frack as my F-bomb (BSG fans will get the reference) and a ton of British slang thanks to my love of Doctor Who and Torchwood.

Sorry I don't swear and I don't like it when others use it around me. I have found though that even when I don't tell people that I don't like it they will be careful around me and will even apologize if they slip up. I play baseball that is usually full of words but no problems there even. I don't allow any of my kids to do it around me as well. They are in their late 20's and early 30's. I figure that if all you can do is use vulgar words it means you don't have the vocabulary to use words that are not offensive. Sorry but that is how I feel. My dh feels the same so it works out perfectly.

In the industry I work in, swearing is almost a prerequisite for the job. We sound like Scarface. I try to rein it in around my daughter---but I slip up.

Do you work at the Fire Department with me? One of our applications should be about new and improved ways to string them together to impress the old guys.
