Do you coordinate your families clothes?

We did this for pictures on our cruise. Actually coordinated all 26 family members. Everyone standing around on the Wonder was like "Wow! That looks great!" It takes some coordination but since we do it every year, we're all used to following 'the rules.' (I'd show the picture if I knew how.)

My wife does this with our three children and herself. I've only gone along with this once, and we did really look nice in our pictures. We're going again in early April, and most likely she's been out buying matching outfits for our trip.

We do not wear matching stuff everyday but since I buy new clothes for our trip anyway I try to throw in a couple matching shirts - last year i got some really cool matching shirts from Big Dog and we got lots of compliments when we all wore them to Ohana's that night. :flower:

I LOVE matching clothes ...... one outfit is enough......... on sale of course.

LOL (My fourteen year old is NOT thrilled but tooooooo baaaadddd)!

We don't wear matching clothes, but we always wear solid color tops. That way we don't have the patterns of our clothes fighting for attention in our family photos. The photos look nice this way.

We usually wear matching Disney shirts two or three times during our visit--always on the first day!! We always get lots of compliments from other guests when we match. We get at least one family picture made and we wear matching shirts for that as well. This year might be harder since it is difficult to find baby-sized stuff that matches the big people shirts. One the days we don't wear matching shirts I try to dress all of us girls in the same color so that we kinda blend in the pictures. DH is a little harder since he refuses to wear purple and pink.

princess: On our last trip I put my two children in matching BRIGHT shirts to make them easier to spot in the crowd ~ they tend to wander off and it's easier to keep them near!

I think there's a real benefit to wearing matching Disney shirts at the park--seems like there's extra character and CM interaction. We wore Pooh shirts last time and had lots of fun comments all day.

Of course I match my families clothes, they might not be the EXACT same thing, but all of colors coordinate. I not only do this in Disney but all the time, especially if it's a family function and I know pictures will be involved. I think it is cute and noone in my family complains. :goodvibes

Debbie, that was US!! I had my green Mickey on my bag!!! I would have been thrilled to meet you! The story of the shirts is over on the Trip Reports Board under "I'm with Bob, Day 3." We usually do try to wear matching shirts, but not for pictures..for the fun of it!!

Yes, we all wear the same color so the little ones can spot us easier. I pack everyone's clothes in the same hanging garment bag by matching color. When we get to the hotel I hang up all the clothes and everyone knows what we're wearing; no debating.

We did that on our honeymoon. People I work with think I am weird!! We don't do it all the time or on every trip, but...

I always dress my 2 girls in either matching outfits or ones that compliment each other (thank you gymboree!!) Then of course I try to wear something that will go with what they have on and "encourage" my dh to do the same. Sometimes it works - sometimes not. He usually feels bad once we get out of the house and realizes that "the girls" are all dressed the same. I do it for the pictures and because I scrapbook!!

I already asked dh if I could buy him a couple of shirts to "go along with the rest of us" and he agreed!! :cool1:

Being that I am one of the Bob people... I think it was wonderful. Whenever we go on vacation together we always do at least one for the group. This time however , we did the " I'm w/ Bob" shirts for just four of us when we went on vacation last Sept. My mom and I decided to extend that.
Not only can you pick your people out easily in the crowd, the reaction of the other people was wonderful. We talked to soooo many people, that may have just walked on by .
