Do you consider this to be bad manners on Club Level floors?

Sorry, but I have to ask - What exactly do inappropriate pyjamas look like? I don't want to eat my breakfast in the concierge lounge wearing the wrong ones.

That 1st comment I made in the original post here, basically all I was saying that in the past the Atrium Club use to be light Club Level service and was not full service the way it is now.

Still trying to figure out how this is relevant to the rest of the topic.

Seriously. It is totally irrelevant.

CR, you must be pretty miserable on your vacations. Sheesh. Plates outside the doors, parking woes, pjs in the lounge, etc. Why not just chill and not police everything? :confused3

I don't have a problem if some guests wear their PJ's into the lounge as long as they are appropriate and I have never seen a Cast Member tell them they are doing something wrong. Besides they are usually there to take food back to their room and not eat in the lounge wearing their PJ's. If they did decide to eat in the lounge with their PJ's on it would not bother me, however if what they were wearing was inappropriate that's a different story.

As for taking food back to the rooms, once again Cast Members have never told us or any other guests that it's wrong. So we have taken the odd thing during the food service at 5:00 PM and the deserts at 8:00 PM. We have also taken some bottles of Beer and soda cans back. Besides we are paying extra on these floors and part of that is the foods and drinks which they offer.

Also for the record I am 22 years old and TinkerBelle_325 thank you for your nice comments. :thumbsup2

I agree about the PJ's. Some are much like lounge wear, like really nice jogging suits.

Are you headed to Poly this December? I seem to remember you mentioning it? We are going Dec. 14-18. Can't WAIT to try out the concierge there. Its been a while since I have stayed there. :thumbsup2

I have to say I have stayed at resorts that tell you to place plates and such outside your room when your done so that they can be brought back for you. Maybe these people though it applied here too. :confused3

I've seen this, too - long ago. Back when ordering food via 'room-service' was more popular.

I agree that it's pretty unsightly whether it's an accepted practice or not.

CRFan, I think it may vary club to club too. I've never stayed in the CR much less either club level there. But I would guess the lounge areas are near the elevators and all guests would go by on their way out? Easy to drop off a plate or glass then.

At the WDW resorts where we've stayed club level, the lounge can be on a different floor. In fact, for us it has always been on a different floor. If running out in the am to a park, you might not even be going by the lounge. And some lounges are locked between service times from what I've read. Can't very well drop off a glass then.

I always enjoy your threads, CR. Nothing wrong with an inquiring mind.:goodvibes

I will say that the one time we stayed club - I did bring breakfast back, but that is because I do that from the store in the morning too. I get up earlier than my husband does and i belive my brother and his girlfriend were with us and she takes a while too. So while the boys were finishing up and she was doing her last min primping - I would run down and get breakfast to speed them up. I took a paper tray that was provided down there so I did not see a problem. I will also say that I did have left over that I put in a plastic bag, because we would come in at midnight starving and we would eat it then because nothing was open. And since we did not eat anything else there, except breakfast, I do not really see a problem with having an extra doughnut. Now there was one time that housekeeping tossed the extras, too.
