When you’re home alone? If so, why??

I was just pondering this today because I went to the bathroom and shut the door even though I was home alone!!

What’s the point? My yorkie has figured out how to head butt the door and pop it open anyway. Might as well minimize the damage and keep it from being wide open vs a few inches.

I close it when I'm home alone or alone in a hotel room - force of habit I guess. I don't lock it though; I'm not a fanatic.

I leave it open if I'm alone.
I close it when the kids are around, cause nobody needs to unnecessarily see their mother on the toilet.

I live alone and I don't think I've ever closed any of my bathroom doors. There really isn't a reason to in my opinion. I do not have any pets or animals to come visit so that wouldn't be an issue either.

Nope, just hubby and I so we don't close ours ever. In the colder months I will sort of push the master bathroom door kinda closed and turn on a space heater when I'm taking a shower cause we have a huge bathroom and I don't like getting out the shower and being cold. I don't close it all the way because our dog would just sit there and scratch on it the whole time.

No, because if I do the cats will constantly try to get in, especially while taking a bath. If I leave it open even a little bit, they leave me alone.

Bathroom next to DDs bedroom, yes
Den bathroom, yes
Basement bathroom, yes
En suite master bathroom, no

And cleaning 4 toilets isn't as glamorous as it may seem, lol.....
