Do you Christmas shop all year?

nope. i have very few people to shop for with a small family and i do not exchange gifts with friends/coworkers. as someone that formally worked in retail i am realistic enough to know that people return very often. it was always so sad when someone brought in a generic gift and didnt want to tell the receipt they hated it/ were allergic to it/ etc and you had to tell them it was several months old and they could not even get a store credit for it. as i'm blessed enough to only have to shop for a handful of relatives i like shopping during the season and finding something that is perfect for them (which means i think of ideas year round, i just wait to buy so returning is always a option).

This is true. I have received many gifts that did not come with a receipt that I ended up giving to goodwill. Mainly because a gift came from someone that was a doll and I was 25 years old But I was always taught that its the thought that counts.

So for those of you who have started shopping, what are you buying?? Maybe it will help with ideas for everyone!

I have started as well. I cashed in some rewards and have starbucks gift cards and have bought a couple stocking stuffers. I have also bought an electric candle warmer....I fell in love with these and they sell them at Walmart for $15! And I hit a 30% off sale at the pet store and bought my pups quite a few toys for christmas! Their almost done

Im not really buying much, just picked up cookbooks for the teachers and keeping my eye out for my group of girlfriend gifts .. we keep it under 5.00 . Last year I found funny Christmas drink koozies at Tuesday morning for 3.99 each. The girls loved them and because we get together at the beginning of Dec each year, they were perfect, they used them the whole season.

I don't buy for my kiddos or family early usually. My oldest is 22 and usually needs clothes around Christmas time, sometimes Ill pick up clothes if I see something, but that is about it.
