I read one of these that talked about some problems with bedbugs! 
I have a terrible phobia of bedbugs. I have never had any experince with them but between them and head lice both freak me out! I guess because they both cause such an infestation problem that require such drastic methods to rectify.
That would be my biggest fear would be to come into contact with a bed infested with bedbugs. We always bring all of our own pillows. We also bring blankets and remove the bedspreads...Aside from bringing your own air mattresses and requesting the beds be removed thats about much as we can do with the bedding issues. We bring Lysol and Clorox wipes too and go over the room when we get there just before unpacking....

My DH watches Verminators!! We are Discovery Channel watchers.... and yes! Verminators does sort of freak me out like I am watching a horror flick 
I even saw some of one of them that had some poor lady trying to get the bedbugs out of her home!! She ended up trashing a bed and a couch to do it!!
