Do you bring a lime green mickey head?

I just picked up my alien green mickeys! i cant wait to get started!!

My rhinetones, are fake ones that were like stick on—found them in the scrapbooking/car making section at walmart! They had other stick ones also like glittery stars and flowers..im glad I could inspire someome—just don’t forget to laminate them!! I know I should on mine, but im to lazy like I said before.

Our Home Depot finally got the LGMH and I am starting to make some for our trip in June. I am making some so that if I see any other Diser's I will leave a LGMH letting them know that Minjo was there.

This is such a cool idea! I will be making one for our first DL trip to CA in June. My son will love this! It will be like "I Spy" or "Spot the Hidden Mickey" for him. Fun!

The more I search these boards the more I discover things I never knew. When I saw this thread I knew i had to make myself LGMH
Went to home depot today no alien green samples. I got the color next to it Sonic ??? don't remember the name (left them in the car) looks a little darker than the alien green. I am going to make two at work tomorrow during lunch break. Thought it would be fun to wear on my lanyard and whatever bag i am carrying that day.

So do a lot of people wear these when they go to the parks be fun to find someone else wearring one. We will be trying to go every month to Disneyland before my daughter leaves for college in August.

After looking at pictures on this thread, I kind of want to make my own now. I always bring lime green mickey heads, but I have yet to really run into anyone in the parks on my trips who are disboarders. Except two years ago I went to the Wine Country Trattoria for lunch, and there was a stroller parked there with a lime green Mickey head hanging off of it. I sat outside on the patio as it was gorgeous out, but I didnt see that dis individual come back. As I was getting up to leave I was thinking of putting a little note saying "Mystic_Path from Disboards says Hello", but I didnt want to walk over to someones personals. I know it was a harmless little note, and I kinda kick myself for it now. I would have been happy to have gotten one.

how did you do the lettering?

I got the head from one of the Disigners, then put it in a program on the computer to add the text and the Mickey. I got the font from a web site by searching for Disney font, or Walt Disney font (something like that), then you just extract the file and add it to your fonts on your computer.

Ok, here is an important question: How do you all attach your LGMH? Several of mine have used those ball chains and that is probably best, but I did have one fall off. I have another that is attached with a plastic stiff luggage tag loop. But that kind of sticks out. I've tried taping it on a backpack but that fell off too.

What a great idea. So many things can be learned on these boards. Think I'm gonna stop by HD today and see if they have any (and maybe get a couple other colors as well). Then I thinking about going to our local craft store to see if they have scrapbooking paper that can match the lime green. I'm thinking I might get more "heads" than taking the entire HD supply. I'm sure they'd love me for that.

I laminated mine, punched a hole in it and attached it with green curling ribbon. The ribbon holds just fine and adds a little fun. I may have to remake mine since they have all disappeared and add some of those little rhinestones. Although...DH might object to carrying one with sparklies on the camera bag!

If you're flying, they also make super cute luggage type tags and your bags are easily identifiable!

I never thought of curling ribbon. It actually is pretty strong. I'm going to try that. Thanks!

Just curious...is The Home Depot okay with this? I am pretty sure those are there for people actually interested in using that paint color to paint something & purchase the paint from HD? I don't know. My DH works in mgmt for Home Depot, I will ask him what he thinks, maybe they don't mind.

On page 3 of this thread someone posted printable heads you can save to your computer. This what I will be using to make more so I can print words on them.
