Do you bling out your ride?

"I wish I could sit down all day."

This could potentially be the most ignorant comment I have ever heard.

As far as bling, I did put some of those battery operated Christmas lights they were selling on my basket in December. They look like retro big bulbs, but are little LEDs inside.

Other than that, I never have. I rent from Apple and their scooters now have headlights and flashers, which I absolutely love! The flashers were fantastic for letting other people see me in the Fantasmic crowd in and out.

For a time, I had my plush Angus (Princess Merida's horse from Brave) tied to the tiller of my personal ECV. We couldn't go 10 feet at Disney Springs on a Friday night without someone giving me a big smile, a thumbs up, or a "thats so cool!" A couple of people were obviously trying to laugh *at* me, but the joke was on them, because I was having so much fun I didn't care! LOL

Cast Members especially loved it - they seem to really enjoy seeing folks who have customized their wheels for their Disney trip!

The only thing I ever advocate for is being mindful of putting super bright lights where it could (potentially) blind one of the little stroller nuggets, or cause them distress - especially blinking lights that could cause a problem. Otherwise, I say decorate away!!!

Reactions: DJ!
We've decorated my son's stroller. The year we went to celebrate his adoption, a couple of Cast Members actually commented--one was adopted as an older child too, and, well, cried.

This year, we're going to add Halloween lights. We had Christmas lights on the stroller last year at Christmastown, and a lot of folks said it made it easier for them to see the stroller foot pads in the dark.

In 2014 I attached solar powered fairy lights all over my ECV. They came on automatically when it was dark which was really handy when I drove through a dark ride queue! They also had a switch I could flick to turn them off so they didn't annoy anyone in a show or something like that.
This year I'm going in December so I'm thinking of doing multi-coloured fairy lights instead of just white, and I'm thinking tinsel and maybe some baubles hanging off my basket... I intend to make it easy to spot and FUN! If I have to use it, it may as well be super cute!

We are going in early May - I am fighting cancer (but look pretty healthy). I'm going to print out my "I'm fighting Cancer - what's your Superhero" sign so that perhaps I won't get the stink eye.

This will be my first time renting a Scooter!

I may do lights too -

Happy Travels!

Light that scooter up, get on it, and wave to everyone like the Princess you are! :)
