Do you agree with everything your political party does?

I do not vote along party lines and do not agree with all that any political party says and thinks. I don't agree with all that any person says and thinks. I don't agree with everything that I said and thought as recently as yesterday. :)
I gotta wonder does she still agree with this post? :smooth:

Wound tight?

"Most" of what the party stands for? Yes. "All" of what it stands for? Absolutely not. "All" of it's actions? Not just "no" but "**** no!" :teeth:

However, I will never vote for a candidate based solely on their party. , without knowing more about their beliefs than that they call themselves a Democrat. Too many DINO's out there for my taste. ;)

Wound tight?
Well, not really. :p I did refer to you in another post, and for that sarcastic comment I'm not going to tell you which thread, so there! Neener neener neener! :rotfl: You've probably already found it by now and I'm making a horse's rear end out of myself, but I am quite good at doing that, so that's ok. ;)

:lmao: ""Sounds like something she would do, but it could have been In A Hurry or at least I bet the horse was in a hurry...""

Let's just say if you are going to to be a horses ****...do it below the first two lines of a post! Too lazy to look any deeper!

Damn you're good! And I was even going to send you a PM this morning telling you that I mentioned you and I don't remember why I didn't PM you. I didn't PM you, did I? :rotfl2:

:smooth: I'm good...I know it...!

Nope, you didn't pm me! I just checked your posts, and as I said...it was in the first two lines of a post...noticed my lovely name being said in vain...and got a good laugh! :teeth:

I don't align myself strongly enough with any political party to feel the need to support it 100% or vote straight down party lines.

I usually do vote more democrat, but I've been known to vote for a republican (mostly local elections) when the other candidate is more unsavory for whatever reason.

I have found myself becoming more eager to call myself a democrat, though, since George W. took office.... ;)

Not a 'party person', I like people/positions in both as well as some it 'others'. One of the reasons I never vote in the primaries here as it is one party or the other.

But you've said yourself you'd never vote Republican. :confused3 Wouldn't that be voting solely on their party?

Like hell I follow everything my party says/does. They are just as fallible as the opposition.

As the OP said, they just happen to be the ones I hate the least!

No, I definitely do not agree with everything my Party does.

However, the things I consider most important (taxes, and security) are areas where I agree with my party's basic tenents. Other parts of the party platform, I may disagree with, but I don't consider them to be all that important to me anyway or really something the government should be involved in. And when it comes to topics like spending, earmarks, lobbying and ethics, I'm pragmatic enough to realize there's not a whit of difference between the two parties, there are only individual members who are corrupt, or honorable, or some degree in the middle and a system that is out of control on all sides of the aisle.

I usually vote republican but I have some areas that I really disagree with that party. I am against the death penalty, for affirmative action, and for gun control...

But as important as those things are I have more important issues that I agree with the Republican Party on, so I mostly vote Republican.

But in local elections, all bets are off.
