Do women like men to shave their legs?

Well, my DH doesn't give me any reason to doubt his sexuality.

He HAS to shave for triathlons. He would be in some serious pain if his wetsuit ripped any hair off.

If he just shaved for no reason, I guess that would bug me.

Sounds like your DH has a good reason to shave. For a man to shave just for vanity reasons just gives me the willies! Ick! :crazy2:

My dh waxed his body once for a body building contest, I HATED it! I told him so and he grew it back. I've been with dh for 15 years and he's medium hairy which is perfect for me.

Count me in for well trimmed in all the right places. If SO didn't trim the hair under his arms it would practically be long enough to braid...yuck!

I think it is gross to see a man that has shaved his pits or legs. Sorry, but shaving anything below the neck is girl stuff. I'm not a fan of very hairy men but I wouldn't have married a hairy guy. I also wouldn't marry one that shaves! Can you say metrosexual? Yuck!

ITA! ::yes::

Me too! I think men should have SOME hair.

Stephen shaved his legs when he was racing his bicycle. It makes cleaning up and healing from crashes much easier. I hated it. Not only was it very unnatural, but he didn't shave daily, so was very prickly. I loathed the feeling of snuggling close, and feeling that unnatural smooth skin on his legs, yuck. He loved the look and is talking about doing it again because he is cycling again. Not racing, but you can see the calf muscles easier if your legs are shaved (they tan better too.) I don't think he'll do it because I hate it so much, but he really liked it. My girls both like their spouses to shave/wax their chests, but not their legs. A smooth chest seems to be what their generation likes. For me, I like hair!

Hmmm, interesting question. Could we have a few samples so we can vote properly?

I'd be totally turned off by a man that shaves body hair except if he had to for athletic purposes (swimmer, bicyclist etc.) A man shaving his legs is just a little too feminine for me.

NO!! I like rubbing the hair on my hubby's arms and legs and chest and belly. When he had his appendix removed and they shaved a spot on his belly, it was just wrong. :guilty:

I think hair on the legs and arms is o.k. I even kind of like beards, except my husband can't grow one but I like Obi-Wan's.

Same here! During the racing season, I'd shave once a week. That got old really quick! Ultimately, I had the hair removed by laser and I'm glad I did it...low maintenance, permanent(so far), and not prickly. Unfortunately, it's a bit pricey. Before I met my DW, she didn't understand the concept of shaving. I've been doing it for a while now so she accepts it. BTW, here's a picture your DH may appreciate it. This was taken at the San Francisco Grand Prix last year. Do you know who the rider is?

My vote is for hairy. That's one of the visuals that attracted me to my DH - his wonderfully, curly, fully hairy chest. I like nothing better than snuggling up to him and playing in his curls!

I like a medium amount of hair. It's sexy. Too much is gross, to little is scrappy looking.

I wouldn't want a waxed man though. Too weird.

And too fem IMHO.

I like very clean shaven, on face, neck ,back, chest, etc.

But shaved legs on men just looks weird.

No, men with shaved legs very unmasculine IMO. (will make exceptions for those that have to shave for athletic purposes)

Don't like hairy chests or backs though.
.

I HATE body hair so Iwould be fine if he shaved everything off except the hair on top of his head!! I like long hair on a guy, but only on his head. I don't think I could be romantically involved with a guy with back hair, its such a turn off to me...I don't like chest hair either but if he had to have anything a few hairs on the chest would be alright I guess...
