I am posting this for my friend, so here goes:
We are coming in Jan with 2 kids- a 7yo and 5yo and camping for the 1st time at WDW.
Do we really need a golf cart? We are concerned about getting around (bus stops, campfire, etc.)?
Is there a bus system that will help us around and therefore alleviate the necessity of a cart?
If you do feel it is a necessity-what company have you rented from-do you have to get it or will they bring it to the campground for you?
Also-can you bring a wagon onto the Disney busses (it does not fold up) rather than a stroller?
thank you!!!

We used the busses to get to the main bus stops and dock for the boat for the parks and used our bikes to get around the Fort and to hop over to WL for breakfast one day. We had a great old time and didn't even wish for a golf cart (well, DS did, but I told him they were for people who don't have bikes!
