We are going to Disney in couple days and wondering do we need these water spray bottles (it serves as a fan too) in the park at all? I know we need them in the hot summer but how about April? High temperature is 83 degree there now. Any advice is appreciated.

When we went in April of 2003 we did not feel that we needed any sort of personal air conditioning system. The weather was beautiful. To me, 83 degrees isnt hot. But, if you are not used to those temperatures, then you may need something. Worse case is that you dont bring one with you, you feel you need one while you are there and then you have to buy one at the park.

Personally, I think that those things are more cumbersome than they are helpful. It's one more thing to carry around and it gets heavy when you get tired. I usually just carry a water bottle and take things easy in the heat. :)

My honest opinion, those are more of a pain then a help. Bad enough hauling around necessities, but a windex bottle full of water with a fan. Just keep hydrated, seek shady area and enjoy the A/C of Disney buildings, whether exhibits or shops. Leave the extra junk at home. I don't like even carrying a park map around.

I thought the same thing but my kids (10,7,7) all insisted they needed one. We just got back. So I ended up buying another one-wish I had brought our old ones from home! It would have saved me $15

We just got home and we saw those things all over the place, so I guess some people think you need them. ;) Not something that I'd want to carry around though. :teeth: Hope you have a great trip.

We didn't need them for an April trip in the past, but when we went in late August last year, I bought them for the kids (2 & 3). They got super hot by late morning and it was a great way to keep them cool and entertained in the strollers.

Go ahead. As long as someone doesn't point them at me. :p

We spent the day outdoors yesterday and it was hot! The forecast said it was only 87 degrees, but it sure felt like it was in the 90's. I wish I had a water fan with me! Bring one.....you'll probably regret it if you don't and have to dish out $15 for one at the parks.
