Do we just need Passports?

If we have passports, are they the only ID that we need? Someone told me we also need our birth certificates, but I figure that since you need them to get a passport, why would you need both? Also, who wants to take extra ID that could get lost. Thanks.

You should only need your passports, I would think.
We only use passports to cross the border, they have never asked to see anything else when we have had a passport in our hand.
Have fun at the POP Century, we were there at the end of January and it is a pretty neat place.

We as well only use passports as spouse only has Passport, as all other documents are in a foreign language. Passports alone should be fine..:)

We only take our passports. Our birth certificates are in our safety deposit box. That way if we lose our ID, we at least have our birth certificates to get started on replacing everything.

Have a great trip!!

I would just make sure you have something with you that indicates your current home address (dated Disney confirmation, cheque book, drivers license?) as a passport doesn't tell where you live and sometimes they ask.
We all have CAD passports, but live in Georgia. Could cause a problem if you get a picky agent. They usually ask us citizenship first (passport is proof of this) and where do you live second.
Have a great trip!

I was pretty surprised last weekend! DD went on a bus trip to NY without any ID except a ski pass membership. No problem-no questions asked. I guess it just depends on who you get. We usually only take passports and drivers licenses (since we need it to rent a car anyway).
