Let me have it people...hahaha..stupid question...I am weird...etc.

I am used to the reaction.

I also know the usual answers:

1. No, they don't...cause....they just don't.

not good enough answer

2.No, they don't because they don't have a central nervous system.

Who says you need a nervous system to feel pain? In human beings, pain is associated with chemicals in brain and electrical activities in nerves (strange enough if you think about it), but that does not mean this is how trees would "feel" pain. What if you are crying because of all the wars and death in the world...it is pain, but not "I stepped on the nail" pain. Well, go a step further and try to imagine "tree pain". It is hard but does not mean it doesn't exist or at least, "couldn't" exist.

"Why are you crying? Are you in pain? Physical pain? The only pain a man can understand?" A quote from Simpsons.

3.This is so ridiculous I am not even going to answer.

Good. :confused3

I don't know. I will go out to the yard and take a poll. Oh, I crack myself up. :rotfl:

What do YOU think and how do you feel about that?
