Do things in Adventureland still open later than the rest of the park?

I thought I read at one time that they did, but I'm not sure about now. My little guy loves the Jungle Cruise, PoC, and Aladdin, so we were thinking of make Adventureland our first stop on one of our several Magic Kingdom mornings. That would be sort of silly if nothing there opened until 10am, though. Anybody know the current scoop on this?

Opens at same time as other lands,if they open at 9 so does it.I think you may be thinking of EE night at MK where certain attractions are open to resort guest's one hour before non-on site guests are allowed in.

Gem - You remember correctly, they were opening Adventureland rides an hour later than the rest of the park when we last went - which was a month after 9/11.

I don't know if it was because of that and if it has gone back to regular schedule now.

Thanks! I knew it was something that started after 9-11 when crowds were down, but I wasn't sure if it was still going on. Anybody know for sure?

Yes - those rides do begin operating an hour after park opening, but you can go into Adventureland at opening. When we did the Keys to the Kingdom tour two weeks ago, we got to ride the Jungle Boat Cruise before other guests were allowed (this was around 9:45am) due to it not opening until 10:00am.

Rats. I'll have to change our plans. I was planning on starting in Adventureland at 9:00a.m. one morning.

i noticed the dole whip place didnt open till 11...which stunk becacuse i had a craving at 9am for one! soooooooo gooooood!
