Have you ever been at a park and not been able to get a double stroller? We could bring ours, but I want to avoid having to load it on the bus and store it in the hotel. My twins are 5 and can walk, but it takes twice as long to get from point a to point b when they are walking.

I want to consider renting a double at the parks, but am affraid that they might run out. We will be there the second week in Feb.

Thanks!

We were there during President's Week, 2000 and they ran out of all strollers at MK. We had to wait in line until people returned them and then they were on a first come, first serve basis.

As much of a hassle as it it to load it on the bus, I'd still suggest bringing your own. Your kids will be EXHAUSTED at the end of the day, and you'd have to return a rental at the park entrance. Then you still have the walk to the bus, the wait for the bus, the walk from the bus to your room, etc...all carrying or dragging two exhausted 5yos and all your stuff.

Have you thought about getting two cheap umbrella strollers? They would be easier to load, etc. And that way you and your DH could each push one. They would be easier to maneuver through the parks. And you can even get connectors to connect them if one parent wants to take the kids while the other does something else.

When AK would get really busy, we would run out of them, and have to do the stand-by thing, but we recently added 100 more double strollers!! So hopefully that won't be a problem anymore!
