Do they mail you actual tickets?

We had to wait to buy our tickets because of a possibility of needing to cancel. I’m good to go now, but we will be leading for the first part of our trip on Jan 22nd. Just wondering what would be the best way about purchasing tickets now and if they mail you tickets. I’ve read about people having to wait in line to exchange a paper for tickets and I’d rather just be ready to get into the park!

I have purchased from Disney's website and they emailed the tickets to me.
The email came in a few minutes of placing my order.
I took the printed email ticket right to the gate and the CM issued us our paper ticket there. No need to go to the park ticket booth.

If you're purchasing through Disney they'll link to your account instantly. Mine showed up in my app right away.

I bought tickets yesterday for our March trip and I received an email with the tickets a few minutes after placing the order. The tickets also showed up right away under my account on the Disneyland app on my phone. However, the fine print does say that it can take up to 24 hours for you to receive the confirmation email from them.

With the tickets you buy from Disneyland's website, you just take the email and show the bar code to them at the turn stiles for each person's ticket. Then the CM will print out a paper ticket for you. Be sure to take a photo of that picture and don't lose the confirmation email because if you lose your ticket like my DH did, they will be able to replace it for you at no charge.

@MelAnnDoll I've had a membership for many many years so I have no idea what code I used but I read here recently that to avoid the fees you can just call to order tickets instead. Good luck!

Hi,

Just ordered our tickets for our first time ever to Disneyland this August. I called the tickets number to order them since i was adding Maxpass. The web wouldn't let me include it in my hotel reservation.

I ordered our tickets last Saturday and they arrived by mail today We live in CT so that was pretty fast.
