Do they know who is covered on plan?

Hi all. Thanks for the help!!
We have 2 adults and 2 children staying at a Vacation Club resort(we are trading thru Interval so not Disney owners). We will have the 4 noted on the DDP(did it last year and it was great!).
Ok, now's heres the question.

One day my husband will be playing Golf and my sister who will be staying off-site will be with me and the kids. IF we go to TS and pay for 2 adults and 2 children off the DDP would that be ok since it is 2 adults and 2 children? Is this allowed? OR will they know that my sister is not my husband and it would not be allowed?

Not trying to get something not entitled too but trying to see if can use TS husband won't use b/c he will be eating at course.

It's not technically allowed because she's not one of the people listed in your room. However, if you used your room key to pay for it, I don't see how they'd know she's not the other adult listed on your card.

Be prepared for people to be angry you even suggested doing this, though.

No they will not know. During one visit my daughter went with us, but could only go for 1/2 the time. But with the DDP rules she had to have the DDP for the entire time like us. So we were there 8 nights and she was there 4 nights. When she left we used the rest of her credits. We certainly were not going to let them go to waste since we paid for them, but because the rules require us to purchase them for the whole time, even though they knew she was leaving, we had the extras and were not going to waste them. I'm not telling you what to do, nor am I telling you to not follow the guidelines, I'm just telling you my past experience. Some may not agree with what we did.

Well, I paid for six CS meals once using my card which had two adults. (I had to do it as three seperate transactions. So they KNEW it wasn't all for me, but I don't really care!)

I totally agree with you CarolA! I have always paid for the dining plan during our trips, and during our last trip we treated my sister to a CS meal from our adult credits, and I feel were none the wiser. When we checked out, we still somehow ended up with CS and snack credits left over - that we paid for and did not even use. For our upcoming trip, I'll make it a point to make use of ALL of our credits.

OP ~ go for it and regardless of any flames that may come your way, just use your credits that you paid for and enjoy!

I agree with a few, I paid for those meals and my husband is going to be paying out of pocket at the clubhouse. I am not trying to get anything I didn't pay for.

I know I won't have a problem using his credit at a CS but was mainly wondering about the TS----Didn't know if they pull up the names on the property reservation when debiting card.. Seems to much for the staff to keep up with if you ask me...

Well, have 3 weeks to decide.. Might just try all they can do is say No.. Maybe they will allow it as part of the Magic. I am sure we will get our $ out the plan in the long run.

I agree, they are your credits and if you hubby isn't there - then let your sister use them. You aren't trying to get something more, just what you have paid for.
