Do they ever release more Disneyland After Dark tickets? Day-of sale maybe?

Thinking of an impromptu trip to Disneyland in May, have never been. :) I am wondering about the sold out 'After Hours' events. Are the tickets ever resold? If one is there, do they ever sell tickets 'day of' or do other disney folks sell tickets to each other? If so, is there a place where people post such stuff?

Seems like the sort of thing that plans change and people might not make it and tix might be wanting to change hands. I looked online and all I can find out is that yes, tickets can be transferred, but thats about it.

They don't release more tickets, and selling the tickets to somebody else isn't allowed. We couldn't go to an After Dark event in March, so I had a long chat with a CM about it. She said I'd be allowed to give tickets away, but not sell them.

Hmm thanks, thats makes sense, thats what it seems like.
I suppose if one was there at the right time, might just run into somebody at the entrance with a spare they can use? That worked well for me for sold out concerts! :)

Maybe if you are staying onsite, they might have some same-day tickets? This happened to us with OBB when we were staying at DLH last year. I don’t know if they do it for these events. We had to be at the front desk at 0500 the day of, and some folks didn’t get tickets as they ran out.

They don't usually release more tickets online, but for the last few "sold out" After Dark events, tickets were available day of at the ticket booths. I would expect day of tickets to be available for the Throwback Nites, but not necessarily for the Star Wars Nites.
