I have seen photo shoots at MK (of course), EPCOT, and DHS, but none from AK. Does anyone know if they do this or any details on it (cost, timing, etc...)? Df was just commenting last night about how he wished we could have wedding photos with the Tree of Life, one of his fav Disney things! :goodvibes

TIA,

Amy

I'm sure some of the details change every now and then (as Disney is known to do)...but I know you can do the Honeymoon Shoot at AK so I'm sure you can do a Portrait Session there...

I think the Tree of Life would be a fabulous backdrop!

Me too! I would love to see bridal pics at the AK! I think I would do it as a second park option. It really is lovely at night when its all lit up.

We did our honeymoon shoot there in 2007 and got some fabulous photos there. I don't recall anyone doing a BP there, but I don't know why you couldn't. I would love to see some !

If you love AK you may also want to do the photopass session at AKL! It is beautiful there.

We had a photo session at the POLY as well on our honeymoon and I'm happy I did. Look into AKL too.

Yes, you can do the bridal photos at AK!! I asked about doing this because DF worked the Safari during our CP days (I worked on Main Street in the MK and wanted to get pictures in our wedding attire at both parks). I wanted to be able to get back to the Safari area but I was told they stick to the the Oasis, bridge and tree of life for the photo shoot.

Thanks everyone! I'm hoping to hear back from Karen today about costs, avalibility, etc. !

We are doing epics this saturday @ MK and the cost for the parks is 310. They basically do it anytime during the day that the park is open... ! Hopefully she will get back to you soon!

That sounds like so much fun. I know our photographer had a blast because we added MGM as our second park. They enjoy getting to shoot somewhere different and we had some really cool shots! I can't wait to see some from AK.

Does anyone have any AK pictures from a honeymoon shoot that they can post?

I'm debating booking this for our honeymoon in June.

Again, I am on here later than I should be ! I will have to scan some of ours. I will try to do that tomorrow night and post some.

Hi ladies! I heard from Karen this morning! There IS an AK shoot! I am so excited! It usually starts at 7:00AM unless it is an early opening day, and the cost is the same as MGM (orDHS, whatever) and EPCOT: $650.

Now I am waiting to hear if the day after our wedding (Friday Jan 23rd) is avalible!

Please please post your pics after you do it, so we can all see! :) I know they will be beautiful!

I love your pics!!! I am so excited to go read your PJ now! the AK pics were awesome! I have to say the pic of you two with Mickey and Minnie are also awesome, thank you for sharing!!

PS were there any with the tree of life? Ill go back and look again, i may have missed em, I loved the ones around the park though, totally beautiful!

Thank you so much for sharing your pictures! I've been debating whether I wanted to do a park session or not. I LOVE the AK pictures, they are so dramatic.

Beautiful!!!

That was the only bad thing. We actually specifically wanted pictures with the TOL (there are two; you can see it from on the bridge). Joe, our photographer, was amazing. We worked through Africa and Asia, and were heading over to the TOL when we got thrown out by some AK CMs. AThey were afraid we would be seen by guests coming in for the Tusker House breakfast. According to Joe, we were the first couple to ever do a BP shoot at AK itself as far as he knew. This is a kink they would need to work out, though we may have just needed to go faster as we had already been there for about an hour at the time. He made it up to us by taking us to EPCOT to do some additional photos, which I thought was very magical of him :goodvibes I was really pleased anyway, even without the TOL pictures!

Your pictures are beautiful!

Thank you :goodvibes

Beautiful!!!

You should definitley do it! We were only going to do AK but as I said above Joe gave us a bonus of EPCOT. The whole BP session was wonderful, one of the best parts of the wedding. No regrets whatsoever for doing it, and I would do it all over again in a second! :cloud9:

Gorgeous photos! You were an absolutely beautiful bride! I love the AK-- I think the theming is the best of any park. I'm dreaming of an AK ceremony, so thanks for sharing your BP photos!

I'm sorry you couldn't get the TOL photos-- I don't see why guests headed to Tusker House and seeing you along the way would be such a bad thing. Did it have to do with the no-wedding-dresses-in-the-park rule? Yay for Joe taking you over to Epcot, though! Those pictures are just as beautiful.
