Do the turnstiles close before park closing?

The schedule for our arrival date just posted, and it looks like the park will close at 11pm. We won't be arriving until after 10pm, and were hoping to jump in there and at least ride Pirates.... and maybe the Matterhorn before it goes down for refurb the following day.

The only time the gates would close before park close would be if the park has reached capacity - and that can happen at anytime on a very busy day. Just make sure you factor in time to get through security - odd as it might sound security lines can be busy towards the end of the day as people can be coming from Harbor going to DTD or leaving DTD and heading back in the other direction.

At that time, you will be going against the flow of people and Pirates and Matterhorn are deep into the park, so it could take you 15 minutes at least to reach Pirates once you are on Main Street. You might want to check if there is a late Paint The Night, as if there is, it will be very crowded on Main Street
