Our experience with movies on the cruises has been very, very good. They will show a film at 12:05am the day it's released . . . just like they would in NY or LA. They will show it in the Walt Disney Theater in the late afternoon, or late at night, if attendance is expected to be large. Both 3D and non-3D versions for different tastes.
Sound is terrific. Popcorn is fresh and worth the $'s.
IMO, it's another reason to love DCL.
I just got off the phone with DCL re: movies on the Fantasy. Current list is:
Dr. Strange
Moana
Rogue one
Beauty & the beast
Born In china
Guardians of the Galaxy 2
Pirates of Caribbean (new one)
Cars 3
Spider-Man homecoming
We were on the Dream on June 15 and they did a PremEar of Cars 3 at 11:00 p.m. (it was released on June 16, so we got it an hour early). Our experience with movies on the cruises has been very, very good.
