Do the game threads annoy any one else?

Inspired by Reids thread.Maybe it's me, maybe the annoyance is shared.

Why so many games? It's annoying to me, at least, to have to sift through them to get to real threads. Random random threads annoy me. One is fine, but not so many on the front page.

If someone explains why so many games, I might see why. Until then, I stand by my opinion.
Anyone else get annoyed?

I love the game threads! Their a way to boost up your number of posts and it keeps you entertained(sp?) when there's no good thread. It's just my oppinion though!

I use to really like them, and play them a lot.
But now I'd rather have actual topics to talk on.
If you go to the CB there's a whole sub-forum dedicated to games.

Occasionally I'll see a game I like (like the geuss the Dis'rs age game...that was interesting just to see what people thought) BUT then the games get old....fast.

Really the boards these last few weeks have been different. I don't know maybe because its the summer and we all have more free time...therefore were not making the interesting threads like we used to, but I feel like all this board is is games and cliques.

See. I don't get that. Whats the thing with making your post count higher? Whats the big deal. It doesnt matter how many Posts you have.

Well, it's a teen board..a lot of teens like 'fun' things like games. Maybe they like the games and not things that are so serious? There are games for those who like them and more serious threads for people who like that kind of thing.

Yes. I prefer actual discussion threads. Not some post a picture or let's count to 1,000 thread.

uh, you can still go to the random thread. there's almost always someone on there. why not strike up a conversation?

and no, i don't post one the game threads. rarely. its hard to ignore them because there are at least 5 alone on the first page.

i'm not debating, i just dont see whats so great about the games. theres a whole forum for games under the community board, why here and why not there?

The random thread is one of the few threads where it is legal to post about whatever you want. Most people take advantage of it in order to talk to other friends about their days and anything you want.

Why not just face the fact that some people here want fun threads? I mean, wow. If you want to get so technical, why don't we just take out all the threads that aren't disney related? this is a disney board after all.. and it's under "disney trip planning forums" "teen disney"

it doesn't say it has to be serious threads only...

i never said it has to be serious threads only. there are fun threads, the show your face, rack up your posts, crushes on disers. those are only a few of the fun ones.

but why aren't the games moved to the game board? that's what that sub forum is here for, games.
