Do the food carts offer AP discount?

Forgive me if this has been asked, i did a search but could not come up with an answer.

We are coming from Australia for our 3rd trip in December
This will be our first trip with Premium Annual Passes as we plan to come back in October next year.
I have looked at the Disneyland website to see what discounts are offered but i have noticed that they do not really say if carts offer an Annual Pass discount?
I am thinking popcorn carts, pretzels etc?
Also do the roaming balloon vendors offer an discount?

The carts you are thinking of definately do not.

The roaming balloons vendors an a few other roaiming venodors do not either and also require cash for payment.

I will add that in addition to the carts not offering discounts there are also a few permanent locations that do not offer AP discounts. The Mint Julep bar, Main Street Cone Shop, Gibson Girl Ice Cream, and Burrbank Ice Cream do not. There are probably others, but these are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Also note that the AP discount has a minimum purchase of $10. My DW ran into this when purchasing a pin at the cart outside Pixie Hollow. So she waited until DGD picked out a pin, combined the purchases, and then got the AP discount.

Usually true, but they suspended the $10 minimum this year when they extended the merchandise discount (again) through the end of the year. We have this year made several merchandise purchases of less than $10 and received the discount. Also, it's never been clear to me if there is a minimum purchase requirement for the food discount. I thought it was $10 for the longest time until one day when I was making an $8 purchase and the CM asked if I was an AP holder. Now I just hand over my AP whenever I purchase anything and see what happens. I have many times since received food AP discounts on sub-$10 transactions.

I wish they did. I suspect it's because they primarily only take bills and *may* at times, take change (but only quarters because one time I tried to buy a Mickey ice cream sandwich with $4 in change).

I'm just confirming this. I bought something a while ago, a cookie maybe, and they asked for my AP. I said I thought there was a $10 minimum on food and they told me not anymore! I've done less than $10 at least a dozen times now. It's very helpful since I travel alone most of the time so I didn't always break $10.

longtimedisneylurker and sonnyjane, thanks i assumed that it was a $10 and over amount for the discount from reading old threads so this is great to know.
I am travelling with my DH and turning 5 while at Disneyland DD so i think in the food department we would easily meet the $10, but as we usually buy DD little things every now and then (especially pins) i was worried about the merchandise side so thats great to know
