Do the cheap mini netbooks work?

This would only be used for surfing the web and maybe watching videos. We have computers for my daughter to use for school work etc. but wanted something cheap for her to access facebook and play around on without having her on mine all the time.

The $79 ones that run Windows CE, I wouldn't count on it. The $200-300 ones should be fine.

You can also get a 350.00 HP laptoip fairly easily at Best Buy from time to time. Or staples etc...
