Do Star Wars characters sign autographs?

Does anyone know if Chewbacca and the other Star Wars crew sign autographs when meeting them at Hollywood? Or do they just meet n greet, hugs and pics, but no autographs?

Haha, what a grouch. He was a disappointment. Vader and Chewie are so big and imposing and he's just a skinny kid who gets put out if you go near him. I was " just take the picture so we can move on."
