We don't have kids and I've always been (and now we both are) DLR fans. I usually repond to people, "Its our beach. You could go on a beach vacation at the drop of a hat? That's what we do with Disneyland." And they just sputter and stutter because there's no good rebuttal to that.
Unless I get the dreaded, "Disneyland? Disney WORLD I could understand." And then Ryan and I flatten them with how much we hated WDW and how much they have no idea about at DLR. And then we go watch Soundsational on YouTube...

Does that mean we shouldn't go!!? just try and stop us!!!

I mean then why do we do anything with our kids before they are of age to remember! I just shake my head. You are creating a bond with your family. Happy emotions and yes memories that are not just for the kids but the parents as well! I took my kids at 2 and 4. Do they remember? Probably not but it was the best vacation of my life with my own family and the pictures alone are worth every penny. Ok I will calm down
Do they have to line up and pay good money for it? Absolutely! Nonetheless, parents still do it, because THEY want the photo and the memory of their baby with Santa. And nobody questions them about that.
