DO NOT USE netmagazines.com...RIP OFF! Buyer beware!

I got a response via their stupid 'case log' ticket system. She said my order was declined and if I'd provide her my pay pal account and email address...yada yada yada. Well, I paid with my Disney Visa and why would my order be declined and why would it take 5 months to figure it out and why does she need me to tell her my email address yet again? All this should be in their records.

They are unreal. :mad:

They are, indeed, unreal. I think they literally bank on people getting disgusted and walking away, allowing them to keep the money.
 

I just kept filing complaints with them. The last one I filed I just told them to refund my money. They sent me an email saying they were refunding my money and crediting it back to my credit card!
 
"Michelle" emailed me back saying I needed to give them the Paypal transaction ID and my email address :confused3 . So then I check the status and the complaint is closed again! :mad: So I filed my 3rd complaint. I also filed a complaint with the California Attorney General's office, so we'll see what happens there. All of this for $7.49. :headache:
 
I didn't read all the post in this thread. But I had the same issue. I ordered Disney Adventures magazine and it never arrived. I contacted them several times also being told my order was declined. I forwarded my paypal confirmation and the order to Disney adventures. They contacted me back and asked a few questions, then they promised me the 3 year subscription that I was promised and paid for. The customer service rep told me that Disney was looking into the issue as they have had to do this several times. Netmagazines.com still has Disney on the main page as a "hot item" as of yesterday. I should have the first issue in the next week or so. If you were ripped off contact Disney, they will make it right. ~Mandy

Wow~! What nightmares! I have actually placed four different orders with netmagazines without problems. However, they were all quite a while ago. I won't be back after reading all this.

Good luck to all in getting your mags or money!
 
Unbelieveable! I'm glad I have never used this company. I order tons of magazines because my job is boring and I need something to do (besides Dis). I always use www.discountmagazines.com . They are great. Disney Adventures is $5.95 a year. It's no 3yr/$7.50, but the difference is you will actually get your magazine.They have a huge selection of $5.95 per year subscriptions, including Readers Digest- I got mine for 2 years and both years worth came!

I ordered family fun from them about a month ago and got my first issue yesterday. Didn't have any problems at all.

How do you get in touch with Disney? Can I go on the Disney website & find info on contacting them there?
 
I just wanted to tell everyone that I just submitted a second BBB complaint today. netmagazines.com contacted me today and told me that they "no longer offer a 3 year subscription and that I could have a 1 year instead.

I am so angry!
 
Here's my update.

I received two letters from the AG that they would work with me...blah blah blah.

I also received an email from BBB telling me that Netmagazines isn't part of the BBB so sorry they won't cooperate.

Then the other day, I suddenly get another email from the BBB that they heard from Netmagazines.com that they will be sending me a refund.

Then yesterday I received a refund check in the mail.

I haven't cashed it yet.

I'm so happy this is, hopefully, resolved.
 
I got my first issue of Disney Adventures yesterday. It says I have a 3 year subscription. I guess contacting Disney worked after all. ~Mandy
 
I got my refund back the first week of April. My DS got a Disney Adventures in the mail last week. On the label, it stated it was for a 3 year sub.:confused3
 
I ordered two separate subscriptions - 1 we received. The second I got a refund check from them. But it only took 7 months.
