Do Not Read - Update on 12/03

HI I'm enjoying reading your report! 5 boys what a blessing!
I have 4 children and I wish we would have had more but I'm 47 and
I have a 6 year old never got PG again.:sad2:
I also homeschool.

I've Homeschooled for 12 years now!

Did you know that they have homeschool day at WDW?
We went to Homeschool day, Aug29th-Sept. 10th. with free dining.
We stayed at POP!!
We are from La. What part of FL. are you from?
I have a Aunt that lives in Tampa.

Have a wonderful night, and I can't wait to read more!!
Kathy:flower3:

I agree that children are such a blessing. I think I will probably be very sad when I have my last. :guilty:

How do you like homeschooling? (I don't) What stuff do you use? You can PM me.

When is homeschool day? I did not know that. How very cool!

I'm from SW Fl. About 2+ hours South of Tampa.

WEeleft our kids with friends when they were little. They had so much fun they didn't miss us. Always a good thing, some mommy and daddy time. Love the report and cute couple you are.

Sounds like a fun report! Mind if I join in? BTW, I'm a homeschool mom, too. I homeschool my DD11, but my DD7 is still in school for now. Will probably pull her out at some point in the next few years and homeschool her, too. DH and I have done a few "Mommy/Daddy" trips--totally different experience!

Hello from another hs'ing, bf'ing mama! :goodvibes I loved your trip report and pics, what a fun mama you are! I never knew about hs'ing days at DW! Thanks for the tip!

Love, Love, Love your first picture of the castle from the ferry. I'm almost tempted to take the ferry next time, just for that shot.

Congratulations on your family of 5 boys. I stopped at 2 boys, but for the longest time I kept having a recurring dream that I was pregnant with a girl! My brother has 4 boys. My poor mom - no granddaughters - just grandsons!

Looking forward to reading more. Must be great to live so close to the world. Can't imagine what that would be like.

Would you believe I saw a family with 5 boys at POR and I thought it was you and your family. Then I looked at the dad and I knew it wasn't your dh.

The mom came right up to me and asked if she knew me, she told me I looked really familiar.

I told her I know another mom from a web board I moderate and she has 5 boys and asked if she was you.

Confused yet.

She never heard of the DIS boards, but she told me she will check it out and would like to see how you do at WDW with 5 boys. She was walking her 6th month old, while her dh and the other 4 boys were eating pizza. She laughed and said, she got a bite of one piece.

Then we decided to go. I really wanted to stay for Wishes, but it was still 30 minutes away and we didn’t really have anything else to do and I knew Chad was tired. He’s been working so much lately.
We snuck into the POLY and waited for WISHES, I think it was finally 9:30 p.m. when it started.

The Christmas Decorations were wierd. I picked the last photographer on Main street to take our picture, so the stupid decorations wouldn't be in our picture.

I love your pictures! :)
Thanks and thanks for reading! :)

Our boys stay with my Mom and Dad when we go away. They love having sleepovers with them so it's all good. ;)

Thanks for reading! Mommy/Daddy trips are so stress(less) no strict schedules to keep and no whining kids to keep happy. :dance3:

Glad you found it, I am going to write more today.(as long as the kids allow lol)

It is great to live so close! Especially when you have an AP. ;) My Mom has 10 grandsons and 2 granddaughters.
Love your pictures. You both are good with the camera.
Thanks Celmama!

That's funny! My DH asked me if anyone would know me if they saw me at WDW and I said I didn't think so. Now I'll have to tell him that they may not know me, but apparently they would know him. ;)

It would be neat for someone to recognize me and introduce themselves.

Okay guys, it is in my plans to add more today!

And I actually slept. Do you ever sleep the first night in a hotel? I don’t. Not ever, until this trip. I didn’t toss and turn all night. I only woke up 2(thanks to having given birth to 5 children).

I got up early and did all my stuff before waking up Chad. As soon as I was just about ready to get out of there, I woke him up. He crankily got up and we were out of there in a few minutes.

The plan was to get some breakfast at the food court, but it was really crowded. So we got our coffee and sat on a bench waiting for the bus. We had lots of time so we let one bus come and go. We got on the next one and called the boys to say good morning. Isaac had woke up in the middle of the night, thankfully my Mom didn’t mind cuddling him and giving him a bottle to put him back down. He is such a sweet nighttime baby. I even love getting up with him, I usually have to force myself to stay in bed and let him go back to sleep on his own. Everyone else was fine, they love staying at my parents, and they planned on going to the park that morning. We arrived at the park to long lines at the turn styles, but we weren’t in any rush. It’s so nice to go somewhere without any real plans.

All we really wanted to ride was soarin’ and since we didn’t have any kids with us we didn’t mind waiting in the standby line for a few minutes. As It turned out it was only about a 20 minute wait and we enjoyed talking to some loud mouthed woman from NJ. (NO Njers) My family is all from Long Island, so I am used to the harshness. I myself have inherited a bit of foot in mouth disease from my very New Yorker Father.

Anyhoo, we rode Soarin and had a blast as usual. It’s nice to ride together, when we have the kiddos we have to child swap everything. After that we decided to get some breakfast. We got a platter and croissantwich. I drank water, he drank chocolate milk. The couple near us were drinking some good ol Bud Light. With their breakfast. I’ve heard that’s the best way to get rid of a hangover is to keep going. I wouldn’t know from experience though. All of my knowledge comes second hand from my used-to-be-very-bad-husband.

As we frolicked down the ramp out of The Land we paused only to make fun of every else having to stop and load up their strollers. Just kidding! We didn’t actually pause.

We basically just strolled around and did nothing. We weren’t real interested in riding much, it’s Epcot, once you’ve done it once you’ve done it more than enough times. Besides Soarin and TT everything else is so bleh. We were going to ride TT, but the line was already 60 minutes. We got FP’s for later. But never got around to using them. I ate having to sit through the pre shows more than once and TT’s is one of my least favorite.

We did go into the TT showroom and I sat in my first Cadillac. It was uber comfy. So we decided to put our kids up on Craiglist.com(for a small relocation fee) and get one. Hehe

There was some kind of SUV/crossover thingamabob Saturn that had much nicer than our expedition with a very neat third row entry. We had fun playing with that and comparing it to ours, like it really mattered.

After we left TT it was time to hit the baby care center to pump. They have a really nice nursing room there, with 4 chairs. Lol. I never saw another nursing mom there, so that might have been overkill. Dim lighting and even a clock in case you are OCD about how long you nurse. It killed me to dump that liquid gold down the drain though. Do you know how much breast milk is worth per ounce? A lot.

While I was pumping Chad saw the fish that swallowed Jonah.

We began our trek around WS starting in Canada. Nothing of great interest happened. I had to go back and pump again, and again I was the only one using that huge room. We basically just enjoyed the day. We had lunch at the restaurant in France. I can’t remember the name and I’m too tired to go find it. We share the chicken entrée and a salad, the one with baked goat cheese. It was very yummy.

My favorite picture from Japan.

At one point we were in Norway and I needed to use the bathroom. When I came back I found Chad resting on a stair railing. As I walked up to him I began laughing hysterically. I told him not to move and snapped a couple pictures.
It was just too good over look. I just wonder how many people walked by and thought, “What a perv”.
We decided to leave, we were Epcoted out and didn’t have anymore oomph to stay until Illuminations. So we started making our way up front. Before we left we went into Inoventions because I wanted to check out the new storm show thing. It was pretty interesting, we will NOT be brining any of our children to it, ever. It’s scary enough they have to live through hurricanes every year, they don’t need to see what’s going on outside the boarded up windows.

We also got some ice cream, if you care.

Then we went to get in line for Spaceship Earth. I wasn’t about to leave without riding the new version. This is where we had a little rift. The line said 20 minutes, but all Chad could see was a million people standing outside. He never, NEVER trusts me. Thinks he knows everything about everything. I kept telling him that once you get in the building there is no more line, that’s why it’s so long outside. It’s the only line. We ended up walking around in circles arguing about it. I was like, fine then lets leave, blah blah. Finally he realized he was being an idiot and we got in line. Less than 20 minutes later we were riding. Imagine that. Unfortunately the people in the seat ahead of us had never heard of getting a room. It was disgusting. At one point her head disappeared. That is when I was really getting freaked. Thankfully when it got a little lighter they stopped. Nasty. I don’t want to give away anything. But I LOVE the new SE. At the end …. I never laughed so hard. It was great! I think the whole interactive game thing at the end is stupid though, it’s only a matter of time and nothing will work, just like in the imagination pavilion.

We finally left and took the bus back to ASMu. We grabbed the car keys and headed down the road to play some mini golf. It was fun and super cheap with our Aps. Lol!

After we got back from golf we decided to hit the pool. It was a little chilly, there was a cold front coming through that night, but the pool was heated just enough that if all that was out of the water was your nose up…it was fine. We swam around a while and then sadly, it was time to go back to the room. I’m never swimming in the cool weather again without bring a big fluffy robe down to the pool with me. Holy smokes. It was so cold. I wasn’t even about to wait for Chad. He’s from the south and doesn’t know the meaning of, “hurry the heck up”. So I grabbed my stuff and took off at a full on sprint. I was in the shower before he even made it back to the room!

By now it was after 10 and we are starving. So we dressed and headed down to get something to eat. The food at ASMu sucks. We like Pop so much better. They have good food there. We shared some cold sticky pasta with a breaded chicken breast and a garlic stick. Anything can taste good when you’re hungry I guess.

After we ate we headed back to the room and went to bed.

Well I didn't really look at that picture of Chad that way, thought you were going to say something about the flag behind him.:lmao:

Very interesting chapter indeed.

I did. Hmmm, wonder what that says about me. :scratchin

Nice TR MommyP!

MommyP - How have I missed this all along? Love your hair down. I thought you were going to make a comment about the red flag, your DH's red shirt, and his red and white cup. Guess I don't know much. :rotfl2:

I love the "car shopping". :rotfl2:

Glad I wasn't the only one that thought that Allie.

Sounds like a great day, MommyP. I had to take a triple look at the picture too. I thought, why is she zooming in on the blurry cup, LOL!
