Wow. Just wow. I am kind of a food snob and this place was amazing especially for quick service! Healthy, fresh, well prepared, well seasoned and ever so delicious. Great value for the price. If you are not a big eater it could easily be shared. The desserts were amazing as well. Wish I could go again tonight!!! Will post pics too!

IMG_9884.JPG. Blueberry cream cheese mousse with passion fruit curd and a tiny meringue. It was fabulous! The chocolate one was good--very bittersweet chocolate but still good

Having a tough time uploading pics. It keeps telling me they are too large. The one above is a blueberry cream cheese mousse dessert with passion fruit curd and a meringue on top

what did you eat?

Ugh! Wish I could get my photos up. Nothing seems to work. In any case, we had three satu'li bowls. One with red and sweet potato hash, with slow roasted sliced grilled beef, and one with romaine and kale salad and chili spiced fried tofu and one with quinoa and veg salad and wood grilled chicken. They were all excellent! We asked for all three sauces to try and liked them all but loved the chimichurri We also got an order of vegetable curry steamed bao buns which were good but a little heavy on dough. Definitely the best counter service I have had in any of the parks.

It was really good for us last week. My nieces and I camped out there during baby swap while my nephews and their parents rode FoP.

We split a bowl with rice & grain, oak-grilled steak and chimichurri. I loved the Boba pearl garnish. Also got the kid's cheeseburger pod meal for the kids. :)

Satuli Canteen and the Navi River were my favorite things in Pandora.

Oh my goodness, YES!!! This place is so good! We shared a bowl with chicken, the potato hash, and the creamy herb dressing as well as a cheeseburger pod. Those bowls are incredible. They have a sampler platter now where you get each base, each protein, and each sauce so you can mix and match. It's $75 though!! If we had more people in our party besides just my DH and myself, I would definitely get it though!!

I got them to give me all three sauces to try even though they said they're not supposed to. They were all good!

I have to agree. The ingredients descriptions for the bowls don't do it justice. We went in with the attitude that we'll try it and worst case, we won't go back. Now its a must stop at Animal Kingdom for us. Retheme it a little and Epcot and especially Hollywood Studios could use something like this.

Satu'li Canteen was in the Top 5 on my "must-do" list for a recent trip and it met expectations (which all seems odd just for a QS restaurant, but then again it's very different than any other QS place at WDW). If it were not for F&W, I'd have gone back a few times. I only had the beef/rice/black bean bowl, but it was consistent with everyone's comments here about the quality and taste. Can't wait to go back and try some other combinations. I get that many guests go for the hamburgers, chicken fingers and fries that dominate most of the QS places, but with the success of fast casual restaurants here in recent years I'm a bit surprised that the concept is just now getting some attention at WDW. I'm more impressed, though, that they took the concept and executed it very well (which was not guaranteed).

I'm also a convert on mobile-ordering for QS after this recent trip and Satu'li Canteen didn't disappoint there either. I placed my order exiting FoP and it was ready for pick-up within 30 seconds of walking in - no wait at all (which was nice considering the size of the line to place orders and that it was moving slowly with guests figuring out what everything was and how to order there).

And I couldn't agree more - get this concept into the other parks for some better (and healthier) variety.

We just got back and I really wanted to try the tofu bowl, but the cast members didn't seem very confident in their responses when I asked which bases and sauces were appropriate for vegetarians. It sounds like all the bases were fine, but there was some conflicting information on the sauces. Didn't want to risk it. Maybe we'll try again during our next trip.

I have found that some people are confused about the difference between vegetarian and vegan. So they may have been unsure if there was dairy or eggs in something. Although, they should have a menu with little icons for vegan, gluten free, etc to make it easy for CMs to answer questions.

I know - I wish they had icons on menu items to make it a little easier to decipher! When I asked the first cast member about the sauces and bases that were vegetarian, she said, "All the bases and sauces are vegetarian, but not all are vegan". Great! Since I eat dairy and eggs, I figured it was a slam dunk. At the counter, I decided to double check with another cast member and he said, "As long as you eat chicken and fish, you're fine." Okayyyy...so I told him I was a vegetarian, and he said "Well, there are all kinds of vegetarians. Some eat fish, some eat chicken and some eat dairy." I reiterated that I was a strict vegetarian (no slaughter by-products) - not a pescetarian, a part-time vegetarian or a vegan - and he said, "Well, if you won't eat fish then I'm not sure what to tell you." I figured it was easier to just go somewhere else.
