do mugs keep drinks hot??

I currently have one of the refillable mugs from CBR that keeps my coffee nice and hot in the morning. Only problem is it's one of the ones that doesn't fit in a cup holder in the car. I wanted to get one of the ones designed for a cup holder when I go back in November, but from what I remember I wasn't sure if they were designed in a way that would really hold in hot/cold temperatures? I think the reason I picked the one I did was I thought the design of it would keep liquids hot longer? Anyone have one of the others that can let me know? I'm pretty miserable without my coffee first thing in the morning, even in WDW!!!

I have a car holder friendly one from AKL and it keeps my tea nice and hot.

thanks! I think these mugs were one of the best suvineer ideas Disney ever had. It's something you get plenty of use out of while you are there (at least I do) but then its an everyday item you can use at home to remind yourself of your trip when you get home...or as your next trip gets closer torture yourself because it's not time to go yet!!

We enjoy them too. We use them for water for the bedstand, juice for early morning starts to football games, tea for walks with the dog.

We have some really old ones from the Polynesian. The car holder one from AKL is the only one of that style we have.

Use my Pop 'travel' mug every morning for my coffee. It arrives quietly while I'm in the shower and stays hot the whole time I'm checking out the DIS boards in the early a.m.!!! Yes, I have a wonderful dh who brings me my coffee..this way he can't spill it on the stairs!!

They're definitely well insulated....

I made iced tea the other day and was packing it into containers while still hot. Ran out of big containers and ended up using some of our Disney mugs. So in goes the hot tea, on goes the top and into the fridge. Next day the tea in the Disney mugs was cool, but not cold like the tea in the non-insulated containers. A full day in the fridge and it wasn't really chilled.
